Wassup Shrimp I postponed the order because I realised its going to be a bit of a pain to vent outdoors, I was getting ahead of myself. I could do gourmets on a small scale without even the need for a tent, let alone venting.. but I already have the tent, mist maker etc.. I wanted to go a reasonable scale and have it automated but until I can modify the window / bother to fit an insulation board in, no tent for now. Concerns are humidity as well as spores all over my property and lungs lol

I think I'll probably still order the LCs this week and then when I end up making a shit ton of gourmet fruiting blocks it's like oops they're here now and maybe I'll give a bunch away as gifts and keep a few

But to be honest I will probably end up ordering blue and gold oyster, black pearl kings, lions mane, reishi off the top of my head. Don't want to go overboard on shit, I bought like 15 different species of gourmet LCs like 2 years ago from buna shimeji to wine caps..  all kinds of shit and they are still sat in my fridge unused. That's my confession lol. That will be a good experiment to see which survived all this time, I'll have to find the exact date, but I don't know how strong that mycelium will be having eaten all of its nutrient source

Wampa is a Star Wars critter. Grogu likes to name her mushies. It’s an albino Melmak that looks like a cross between a Yeti and a Melmak, so she called it Wampa.

Pour your agar around 115-118F, and let the stacks cool in front of your hood for several hours. That should resolve the condensation issue.
