well when your working with two hands and one hand has a scalpel or whatever, unsnapping and snapping the lids back on was always the hardest part for me. plates have no snap lids lol


I think the hand tek is pretty similar, put hand over cup/plate and lift off, but with the cup you have to kind of twist/pop it up, who knows maybe I have the cup twist/pop off gift!?

well if i had her techniques i would be golden! i used to sterilize the cups first and then pour the sterile agar into them, snapping the lids was tough because the warm agar made the cup flimsy. Im sure overall they work great. I had like 2% contamination rate with them over about 1000 cups. They are great for one time use.

I put the two bags, cups and lids, in the SAB and pull them out in batches of 5 or 10, place them upside down on an elevated rack and pour a few at a time. Putting the lid on one handed is a little tricky but once you do it a few times it get easier. If one doesn't snap I really don't worry as long as the lid is sitting on the cup. After I get done with the 3 or 4 I'm pouring I'll go and snap the lids I couldn't get on. 1 in a hundred going fuck-o so far is ok with me, guess I'm doing something right.

Pouring at about 120ΒΊ then stacking 6 or so high was a game changer with condensation too.

Edit: It's huge. Maybe you don't see it from mobile, not sure :shrug:

If you use Chrome you can click the option to see site as desktop to adjust it how you want it.
