It really is. Weather is looking pretty sexual the next few days here, rain wise, but still a bit warm on the daily. The mushroom dreams are starting which tells me it’s close 🤤

Im still patiently waiting, getting some okay rains and at least the sun hasnt been beating down to hard when it is out. Ill have to check my microclimate spot in a few weeks

Visited this spot twice earlier in the week after the rain spell and felt power but no sprouts, but after the nights rain, today the spot revealed the early fruits,

Well the 2021 season has started with a bang. Team Stuntzii scores first for the fourth year in a row now and though they ran away with the cup in 2018, its been the Blue bombers bringin it on home ever since. Team Lib can't be counted out but they haven't been a contender decades.

Not mush Chuck haha, I've been on a mush hiatus for awhile I stopped cultivating and just stopped everything entirely. I'm feeling a bit rusty coming back into things but it feels good to be back out hunting. I found a few new spots and some of my older spots are getting covered in blackberries or foliage, hopefully this Pelli season doesn't get to dry or snow to early but either way I'm fucking pumped.

Found an actives patch today that I was clearly not first to- somebody had come through and ripped out a ton of mycelium, which is how it caught my eye. I really don't get why! There were huge chunks missing and lots of it loose around the area, some of which I recovered to rehabilitate at home and the rest of which I tried to put back as best I could.

I've found cyans at this spot previously, in a different area, but those don't seem to have popped yet nor have any in my usual spots (in Kitsap co) with one exception.

I'll post a formal ID request separately, but including them here as they're definitely actives (and if somebody here found them first, please don't do what you did!). The timing, mycelial activity (aggressive as hell and super stringy), blueing, and hollow stem from the pin I picked are making me think they might be ovoids, which would be exciting as I sprayed this area with LC at the end of last season and it'd be wild if that was this successful already. Lots and lots of pins lying in wait so we should know pretty soon!

The blue on this chip is what made me look a little closer for pins...

And sure enough:

I did feel bad picking that lil one but it was for science, and there are lots more in this patch...

Good eye! Shame about the trample, but I see so many spots or potential spots just torn up. I imagine some patches never even get a chance.
