I'd just throw that one out. It only weighs a couple of tenths of a gram, anyway. If it didn't turn blue, it ain't an ovoid, they ALWAYS blue

I'd say they always bruise, but mine don't always blue. They often bruise blackish.

I've had them both ways, and yes magic mushrooms are always more potent fresh than dried. I'm not giving you a dosage suggestion, but my personal opinion is that they are overrated. About equal to a good cubensis. 2 grams is a start and 5 grams is about the whole show

Just to clear things up.. the "Trees with the helicopter seeds" are maples and are probably going to be your most abundant riparian/floodplain tree species. Sycamores also called plane trees drop a small apple sized ball of seeds and have camo looking bark. In Europe what they call "Sycamore" is the Sycamore Maple but it is infact still a maple. True Sycamores are imposible to miss, while maples are absolutely everywhere. That is all and congrats on your find.

brush them with a small paint brush or tooth brush. Great finds man, I'm glade you are having so much luck now. Ovoid hunting must take a load a patents and dedication, which you have.

I don't see the harm in rinsing them or giving them a light scrub in a bowl of water just before using.

I hear this, they color usually is a little too dark for me to consider "blue". I mean it is blue, but like.. midnight blue... or something. Whereas a cube, I suppose because it has less psilocin to turn blue, turns a lighter blue. When I have young specimens though, there is usually a stage where the caps turn very steel blue while drying. Some keep this color even while dry, and look sexy as fuck. Usually older ones don't do this as much.

Actually the most common trees to find ovoids under are box elder trees. Ive been hunting for 12 years and never found a naturally occurring ovoid without them present.

I agree with that, Box Elder is still a maple, only maple with compound leaves also called the Manitoba Maple due to its abundance in Manitoba Candada.

I found my ovoids under pine trees, lol. They were mulched with hardwood chips though.
