PDX is shaping up nicely with the weather we are having. Tons o pins and a few nice fat ones in well irrigated areas...

Nice and soaked out of the field...
-------------------- γνῶθι σεαυτόν A man traveling across a field encountered a tiger. He fled, the tiger after him. Coming to a precipice, he caught hold of the root of a wild vine and swung himself down over the edge. The tiger sniffed at him from above. Trembling, the man looked down to where, far below, another tiger was waiting to eat him. Only the vine sustained him.
Two mice, one white and one black, little by little started to gnaw away the vine. The man saw a luscious strawberry near him. Grasping the vine with one hand, he plucked the strawberry with the other. How sweet it tasted!

Haven’t been out to the coast yet, but I found some P. Cinctulus here in the Willamette valley in my back yard!

Ive been frequenting 5 spots that have always produced. Im thinking the temps haven't fallen enough for the major cyan bloom. I can't wait, had an active dream last night, I'll take it as a sign of good things coming. Needing my treatment!

Fairly certain the heatwave we had back in July turned most of the mycelium to dust. None of my Liberty Cap fields are fruiting, which is really unusual for this time of year. That being said, it's not a complete lost cause.
I've been seeing a lot of Mushrooms popping up in the last week & half with all this wet weather we have been having. Temps down in Everett are the same as up here in the Lower Mainland. If you are having "active dreams", then the mushrooms are calling to you. They're out there, you just got to find them. Hopefully your mushrooms patches start fruiting soon. Best of luck & happy hunting.

Found 4 babies in a spot that typically throws out a modest yield. Never huge, but consistent. Someone else has been ripping the spot up. Great to at least see some blue. Cyan in Everett confirmed.

Anyone know how long it takes for a patch to begin fruiting again?
I'm wondering how long it will be before I can pick a patch I picked last week. I'm thinking that 2 weeks should be enough time for them to pop back up.
The weather has been and will continue to be very rainy which should be good for their growth. Planning another trip to the coast

I’ve been wondering/ searching for the same info …. Like avg. time between flushes - I would imagine it’s very weather dependent ?

I'm no expert, however, in my limited experience. There really isn't a distinct beginning or end between flushes, they're consecutive. If you only harvest the mature mushrooms and leave the pins behind. You should be able to harvest at least once a week, sometimes more, sometimes less, depends on how much it rains.

The patch in question was completely picked, all except the few pins there were, so I'm curious how long until more pins pop up and mature. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Side note: I think my rain dance is working.. you're welcome PNW
