Nice medullosas ST1R, healthy looking specimens. I'm yet to go out hunting for them, but I got some fruiting in my backyard at the moment. I haven't tried them yet and I still have the collections from the last year, but I might try them later this fall.

So Saturday checked out my usual field. Glad to discover they are out there already. Only 23 pcs to be found, but was a nice walk.
Here`s first two I spotted this year, a spider and a flat Panaeolus (I think not active?)

Awesome photos everybody! Big thanks for sharing!
Went on a hunt yesterday, spent 4 hours and found nothing psychoactive but 2 DAMN HUGE Amanita Muscaria
Heard from locals that it is still too dry in a forests around Saint-Petersburg, so I'm waiting for good rains heh
Or maybe I'm just hunting in the wrong places lol
How do you think guys is that a good spot for P.Semilanceata (pic. 1)?

Went out again the other day and picked around 300. Pretty soggy ground, but found a good number of huge ones.
Checked out a different spot yesterday, nothing noteworthy happening as of yet though.

And a little extra bite:

Nice finds. Could you report on the temperatures that were on the time you found those libs?

Weather in Estonia for last two weeks have been: around 10C at nights, around 15C in day time. And big rain showers almost every other day for 2-3 hours a day.
So quite perfect conditions for our little friends.

Went out to my field yesterday (8 days in between) and saw lots and lots of panaeolus growing everywhere, but only around 35 libs to be found in 1 hour search. Have anyone noticed some connection between panaeolus and semilanceata fruiting times? Do they fruit in exact same period or perhaps panaeolus is more earlier (warmer temps) and then follwed by semis ?

Between 6 and 10 °C at night, and between 10 and 15 °C in the daytime, pressure around 1005 hPa.

Thank you for your replies. I recently moved to Denmark. The temperatures in my area stayed at around 10°C at night and 16-20°C during daytime also there wasn't that much rain in the past week or so. So i didn't hesitate to go and look for libs as i thought that those fellas like colder temps like 5°C or lower at night.
Anyway i decided to check two of my possible liberty cap fields. One is a cow field in which i didn't find anything and the other one is a sheep field in which i managed to find those two:

I'm a little surprised as those two libs are the only shrooms i managed to run into. I didn't find any other ones of different kind.
This is the field if found them in:

I was a little worried before going in because the field is wired and there is also a public path going besides but on one of the gates i found a sign which translates into something like this " the aerial has sheep in it. Keep your dogs lashed and if you run into any problems call name on a number xxxxxxx". So this propably means that i can acces the field and shouldn't worry about tresspasing someones territory?
Anyways i'll be going back to check the field later and good luck guys ✌✌

Sounds like the owner is a cool guy!

Looks like a good habitat, you should be able to find more. Keep going back every week. And go when the grass is dry and it's a bit more cloudy, it's so much easier when the caps are white/yellow.

A few more.
Seem a bit dry and old don't they? I keep finding single ones like these. But no new fresh/moist ones though we had some mild rain for the last few days. Propably will have to wait until some heavier rain comes through and the temperatures drop a bit. Cheers guys.
P.S How do you dry and later store these little guys?

dry and old or easier to spot?
Plus singles can lead to their mates with bit o rummaging sometimes...

these look like perfect specimens to me. Libs are only little brown mushrooms until they dry a bit and, as (I think) best way to store and preserve them is by drying, the sun has already done some of the work for you! I guess in Nordic/Baltic brown is commoner but in UK i know people which will only pick dry/white/cream ones and leave perfectly good brown 'uns . madness!
anyways there are way freakier ones out there! (check out some of the buggers on the Irish thread https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26199730#26199730)

i personally dry them at room temp near radiator/heating to speed it up a touch until dry as possible (others will recommend faster and more thorough drying).
I store in air tight container whole until needed.
To use I grind up with electric coffee/spice grinder and put powder into capsules for consumption. i can manage dose level through grind level and amount of compaction (from 0.1-0.5g in size 0 capsules).
