Something in that statement doesn't match up. Placebo, maybe?
Liberty caps are not that potent.

Joshua, that dosage is correct for liberty caps. There are two to three doses in a fresh ounce. Lincoff and Mitchell in their pioisonous and Hallucinogenic Mushrooms books also list this dosage as does Haard and haard in their p Hallucinogenic and Poisonous Mushroom book. Stijve has conducted clinical studies using human volunteers and one dried gram is an average dose for someone who never ate libs before. the 1-2 dried grams is the normal dosage for the liberty cap mushroom

20 to 40 fresh is average for most people.

My first trip I aaate 24 in 1973 and barely felt anything. SO the next day i collected over 400 fresh specimens of semilanceata. I told my wife we should eat about forty since3 I kinda felt a little on the 24 I ate the day before.

as I counted them out, she suggested we both eat 60 shrooms each. That weighed in at oine fresh ounce each.

After a few minutes of thought, I put ten of mine back into the bag when she wasn't looking. I figuered soneone had to be in control.

Anyway WE both saw and experienced what R. Gordon Wasson wrote about in his Life Magazine article tot he world on his experience after re-discovering the use of these mushroonms in Mexico.

Haard and Haard also recommend a mixture of twenty blue ringers with twenty semilanceata shrooms.

What you are saying now is in line with my thoughts as well. However, this is what you posted earlier and is what I was questioning you about, "one dried ounce of liberty caps or twnety to forty fresh specimens or 1/3 fresh ounce."

I think a dried ounce of liberties is bound to accel the user to the point of no points and may explode the user.

if ure a first timer try 40 the good thing about libs is that they wont knock ure head off in low dosage like some other species i.e ps cyan ive been as low as 30 and as high as 300.reverse bungi jump.and still laughed my ass off every time. libs are a quality trip be brave :mushroom2:

Lets not forget the mother and two young just turned teenage boys of hers in Menton France who ate two fresh ounces of Copelandia cyanescens in a soup. Can you imagine what they went through.

I ate close to three ounces of fresh cubes once. Needless to say I didn't exist anymore. I experienced being reborn into my body when I returned to conscious awareness...it was quite interesting. Not being prepared for such an event would have been horrifying.

This report of an accidental intoxication of Copelandia cyanescens by a mother and her two adolescent children occurred in Menton, France in 1962.. Over 60 grams of fresh mushrooms were consumed causing a most terrifying experience. In French.

Semilanceata is more the less white  in their stems, while they are dry it can change to black/ purple kindah colour.

depends on so much ; )

some only need to start with half of that, its different. Ive heard 2g is a medium dosage though.

accept you as you, just be but let go, pure is only and so on..  (just some queries to go along with)

I would not reccomend anything regarding usage but some says  better before than after  :wink:

What y should do is to do some research about other who have enjoyed different species of thus and take it from there, knowledge my friend, some say its power but its actually so much more.

I took 2 small libs but they were very purple along the edges, and I can definitely feel something.
( I'm microdosing )

The cap margin is purplish due to spore deposits, it has nothing to do with potency.

Besides, this thread hasn't been active for over 9 years.
