What's with all the doom and gloom? I don't think you could have been more pessimistic! It's absurd to write off a whole season right now, and that's and understatement! In fact I totally disagree with you, the season isn't late, it's early! We're still in mid August and the first find is already almost a week old! It almost never starts this early! Obviously it hasn't started everywhere and for everyone, but it has started, it is a good sign for things to come imo, and you have at least 3 months of potential picking to come, if not more!
