can bud rot cause hallucinations? * 1

so.....long story short, im pretty much out of weed and the last sack I got had about a gram of bud rot which I only saved it to show my guy next time I see him, fast forward ive been hella busy with shit and cant go get weed and I was jonesing last night so I just smoked 1 pinchy of bud rot bud.....and as soon as I exhaled all these(hundreds) black/white/colorful/translucent spots start flying around my whole vision....I watched for a few seconds then started to freak out. I closed my eyes and rubbed them cos at first I thought my retinas were detatching....anyway it went away very fast but im still freaked out.....any input would be awesome.

lol nope. just plastic baggie in a clean cabinet. it was so weird. im actually afraid to try that again lol

edit: also they were not floaters. it was almost like a trip. the spots appeared out of nowhere in my whole field of view and moved independently of my eye movement.

You just got oxygen deprivation from holding the hit in or something. You didn’t have drug induced hallucinations IMO and no bud rot isn’t known to cause them.

I wouldn’t smoke that shit tho, getting high isn’t worth your health.

you dont know me....so ill let that one slide. and actually spot on. I thought as much also, BUT I tried to replicate that the rest of the night by just holding my breath and nothing happened. I could not recreate it. also I did not hold it in long at all, cos you know, IT HAS BUD ROT.  and a lot of shit is going on so forgive me for wanting to get high.

yeah....I thought I was dying. I thought I had an anurism or something and that that was the end of the road for me lol it was very freaky. came out of nowhere and happened DIRECTLY after taking one hit. also for reference: I have experienced floaters many times and also other visual phenomena related to blood circulation but I have NEVER experienced anything like that. the only thing I can relate it to is a psychadelic trip :/

edit: just smoked 2 pinchies....tasted like shit. feeling the onset of thc high. no visual phenomena....which concerns me even more because if it wasnt the weed then that means its my body :/

Sounds similar to an experience i had with MG seeds soaked in Barcadi 151. A gulp of the alcohol caused an instanteous LSA peak. Amazing!

No idea if u smoked a psychedelic mold but it sure sounde like it! :strokebeard:

idk....I tried many ways to replicate it and I could not. i still have like half a gram left. I may save some to try and cultivate and I may test the rest to see if it will happen again. all I know is it came out of nowhere and scared the loving shit out of me :/

I get this very rarely when I'm exerting myself. It only started after I did mescaline once, so I don't know if it's related or not.

It's like colorful little fireflies, right?
