What is your favorite tarot card deck? Have to go with Rider Waite. * 1

Love the symbolism and is like the I-Ching with great artwork.  What are your favorites?  Love the cat one as well.  They sure as hell can tell when one is an esoteric state.  Guess that is why in Egypt they held them as sacred.  Unlike the cesspool Egypt is today.

One can learn a lot about humanity and life by symbols.  They are everywhere of course.  Getting the depth and meaning at times, is amazing.

I used to use a really amazing deck called Tarot Illuminati. It's basically Rider Waite but with very beautiful computer-generated images.



I haven't done tarot for a while, but I still love it. It really helped me gain insight into myself and into creation in general. Recently I've been working with the I-Ching which is another really insightful teacher. They are both really great to learn from :sun:

The one I bought makes little sense even researching it.  Think that is the problem with it.  Handel Tarot.  Mystery!  Just put up all the symbols and writings and try to make sense of it of a garbled mess.

I-Ching is great.  Got to get back to it.  I just love the art and the symbols when understood, which some are just for the occult/secret factor and are not meant to be, is just my taste at this time.

I use a couple of decks that are essentially Rider Waite but with different art. The Rider Waite art has never resonated with me.

I use the Oliver Hibert deck as well as Deviant Moon Tarot.

Every now and then I use the Hermetic Deck but it is my least used deck.

Liking the cat one.  I just throw it in the wind because at times I am lazy and when the reading is a H.P. Lovecraft, I sense forboding, seriously.

I can read them myself and by myself have offered for others but that was long ago.  I like to just read for me.

Cats are strange in a good way.  Like the deck.  Egypt had it right for awhile.  Now the cats have more value there than the human beings.

Had a soft spot for Tavaglione. Like the ancient looking decks. Visconti except it was too big to shuffle comfortably. Friend had Medievil Scapini. Liked that one. Hermetic okay except for being black and white.

Seemed to resonate with Yeager for a while. Had three Crowley decks over time. Kind of repulsed by the artwork. Was into Celestial tarot until it vanished. Had many decks but only seem to connect with a few.

I Ching. Like it a lot. Like having a stern teacher watching over me. I seem to need that most of the time.

Thoth deck by Aleister Crowley


and Emily Carding's Transparent Tarot

I have had some luck using theh B. O. T. A. Tarot Deck by Paul Foster Case.

Pluto's going retrograde soon, might be a good time to use them for some retrospection  :lookslucrative:

I Highly recommend the Hanson-Roberts Tarot which is so cute that you could lay the cards for a child, and indeed I bought them at age 13, amnd another I highly recommend for those who feel the Africa connection is the African American Tarot, of which here The Magician:





If you are connected with Voodoo I highly recommend The Vudu Tarot. I have had the pleasure of having known the creator of the deck, mr. Monroe (my home is here my friend, not on Facebook), personally and he insisted he had it made such that the gold color of the deck was made from actual gold.
