He's not keeping aid out of his country. He's keeping aid from the US out of his country, because the US has a documented history of smuggling weapons in, disguised as aid.
Are you intentionally saying ignorant things, or are you just ignorant?
He simply believes anything the billionaire funded media tells him, and ignores the investigative reporting showing that while things may be bad in Venezuela, there's still plenty of food.

I'll second that.
Koods seems to have lost all respect on the political forum (from BOTH sides).

I like koods. He's clearly quite intelligent, if a bit rabid at times. That can be more frustrating than arguing with a dumb-dumb though because it's hard to see why an intelligent person wouldn't be on the same page. Still, it was a dumb post. I'm certain contraband has been smuggled in fruit shipments many times.

His posts used to be very intelligent. I'm not sure what's happened lately. He just seems to repeat whatever the mainstream media tells him to say, which has been proven wrong over and over and over again. I'm still waiting for someone to post a fake story from RT America.
Speaking of which , here's more on US weapons to Venezuela:
He jokes the opposite of what koods said - that the assault weapons were actually filled with food.

Obviously, koods has some old school, USA top dog diplomacy/ tip of the spear type stuff when it comes to "international intervention".
I've been much worse. When I was in my expeditionary unit.... America, Fuck Yeah! on steroids.
I think alot of people have had quasi-imperialism/nationalism side to their political ideology, at one time?
It is 2019, and the United States still will take action to capture resources,if this wasn't oil rich Venezuela........

It's "liberating oil". It's not like one person gets all the comtracts but ya it's corrupt who does all the same. To know who will is insider trading or good research/spying.
They do all that. Just look at who profited from the Iraq war. It wasn't just destiny.

What do you mean “capture resources?” Are you implying that the US intends to seize Venezuelans oil fields? There seems to be some narrative here that the reason the US has opposed Chavez/maduro is becasue they nationalized their oil industry. I wonder how many of you know that Venezuela nationalized their oil industry in the early 70s.

Im clearly intelligent. That’s how I know that you aren’t gonna be able to smuggle weapons in an aid shipment that will be distributed by the Venezuelan government.

You think the USA would give a fuck, if one of the largest oil reserves was not in play?
Don't have to seize them, but rest assured, there is a strong financial influence for that Veny oil.

Im clearly intelligent. That’s how I know that you aren’t gonna be able to smuggle weapons in an aid shipment that will be distributed by the Venezuelan government.
How do you know that? It's been done before:
Quote:
The examples are numerous. The United States sought to overthrow Chile’s socialist president Salvador Allende in the 1970s, a move that eventually led to the brutal 27-year rule of Augusto Pinochet. It used a humanitarian-aid program in Nicaragua in the 1980s to hide $27 million in weapons for right-wing groups fighting a leftist government, fueling a civil war (a scandal that involved Elliott Abrams, who is now Donald Trump’s special envoy for Venezuela). And in 1989, the U.S. left hundreds of civilians dead in Panama when American forces invaded to overthrow the country’s de facto leader, Manuel Noriega.
Quote:
The third way weapons have arrived from the United States is via legitimate military purchases, aid packages that include weaponry, or clandestine movement of weapons to proxy armies supported by the US government. Much of this weaponry came during the 1980s, the height of US-Honduran military relations.
... Both US and Soviet weapons moved through official and non-official routes as part of the Cold War tit-for-tat. US and Soviet interlocutors also had connections to organized crime. One of the most notable examples in this regard was Colonel Leonidas Torres Arias, the head of the Honduran military's "G2" intelligence service (the equivalent of the CIA) in the late 1970s, a staunch US ally.

I think what this comes down to, fellas, is that Koods has lived in DC, he has said that he has been a passenger in military aircraft, he may very well know someone who has skin in the game. I don't like making those kind of speculations, but it seems the only rational conclusion. I don't know why you would argue such silly positions, when faced with so many counterintuitive facts.
It's either that, or the classic 'double-think' that George Orwell so beautifully described in his book, "Nineteen Eighty-Four".
I suppose a third option, is that he backed the wrong horse to begin with, and his ego prevents him from soberly accounting for all of the facts, or pursuing any sort of truth on this thread.
One last thing I might add... What has RT ever lied about? Do tell.

his mom was a diplomat or worked for the state dept or some such, i think. I don't know who the bad guys are in venezuela, but I know that protesters where trying to fend off security forces with shit bombs in widespread riots in the recent past. My gut instinct is to back the rioters in almost any clash with authority, but I'll admit that the massive unrest could be a ruse put on by a vocal minority of capitalist sympathizers.
