Its possibly to accidentally kill someone with a gun but without a gun theres very little chance. I believe thats the reasoning.

Certainly.

But, with gun ownership comes the responsibility of safety.  I've been shooting guns since I was little and owned my own since 18. 

Never have I had an accidental discharge or close call because I am responsible about it.  Accidents can definitely happen I understand that, but there are ways to minimize the chance.  As with anything that could be potentially fatal.

why are nogunz people so fucking in love with reloading? Guys I shouldnt have to reload all the time when Im shooting at paper targets. hell a drums not big enough. Maybe its time to go belt fed.... that being said 18 does seem a bit young to shoot (without supervision) I remember being a VERY angry young man at that age before the shrooms rounded me out so I agree with the 21+ age restrictions. maybe even 25+ would be better

Me either. I'm super safe. I make sure to tell the kids that come over not to play with my gun on the table. Once I was so on top of my shit I realized one of my guns was missing and found one of the kids was playing with it. I scolded him.

I never have kids in my household and never have.  No children in the family currently and no friends have kids :shrug:
