Local gunshop told me this morning that assault rifles etc are being banned! Also said ammo is going up 500% in price due to some bill obama signed? If this is true I'm gonna be fuckin pissed off.  I voted for him. But what the hell is this shit?

i dont think he wants to take them away he just dosent want you to beable to get more.  I hate when people say he wants to take them away do you really think hes going to go door to door and ask people for all of their guns???

Well, between McCain and Obama, there's not really a winner, but from what I heard I'd rather have Obama. I'd like if they both just had heart attacks or something though. Er... not that I want Biden to be in Office, maybe he'd run into a bullet or something if we're lucky. :shrug:

This is the only thing I dislike about Obama.  I fail to see how a weapons ban will keep these guns out of the hands of 'bad people'.  I mean, I watch COPS...most of these guys getting busted with guns didn't obtain them legitimately anyways.  And as far as the 500% markup on ammo...I doubt it. If that happens, they're going to have millions of pissed off hunters, trap shooters, and rifle/pistol range shooters to deal with. Ammo is already too much.
