YES. The swarming ocean of energy makes sense somehow as being outside of time. Now where did this cosmic divine energy come from?

Exactly my point. We just dont have the capabilities to know if it had a beginning or if it always was and we just cant comprehend that

like mckenna once said...where is it written anywhere in history that evolved monkeys should be able to know the origins of the universe?

Just hope its not too late by the time we do figure it out

it all comes down to having less kids. Thats the only way we will allow the world to continue to its miracle. But as of today, stupid people enjoy having babies that become stupid so we are on a massive downfall into extinction. Really, psychedelics are the only thing that can turn all this around as quick as we need it.

Will we? Find out next time on "Planet earth:the mad monkey with free will" !!!

it's funny how so many people talk of the Source, but cannot lay their hands upon it...it's always endless blather about something no one can possibly put into words.

Christian logos? what is that? it doesn't seem to exist.

you mean the Grecian logos, not Christian logos...Christians believe in "Christ" not Logos.

but you of course, conflate everything, even though christians seemingly can't keep true to their word, that is, if you are correct....funny that we all need to defend them though they would have killed every "pagan" if they could....

I have met the logos. Funny, because i am Greek. The logos is in the form of a floating starship, which is gold, which is responsible for everything we see. It can move through dimensions at will. It is God. It is machine. It is syntax. It is ALL.

I KNOW CUZ I SEENT IT!!!!!

i felt like it was saying to me "Yup, here i am, kid. What you gonna do now?" "Didnt think youd actually ever see me, ay? Well now you did, but nobody will ever believe you"

Youve seen the Logos and you are Greek and u did DMT.

Ive seen fragments of the Aztec sun calendar on my first Acid trip, and my ancient ancestors might have been Aztec or Mayan (Im half Mexican).

Theres got to be a connection there.

I've just come to the conclusion that I am a pantheist.

That's the position of the Bhagavad Gita, the spiritual AND material energies of God. Kabbalism tries to avoid this conclusion partly because pantheism can become a worship of nature or aspects of nature and quickly devolve from pantheism (Greek: pan=all, theos=god) into polytheism, animism, fetishism, and downright idolatry.

I much prefer the notion of panentheism, which takes the transcendence of God to be more essential (which I concede since the universe is a result of an act of will (intention) that creates external to the divine essence of God, and the unmanifested Godhead is ontologically prior to any creation). In panentheism "God is greater than the universe and includes and interpenetrates it." The Neoplatonist Iamblichus whom I'm reading did not hate matter as a prison for the soul like his predecessor Plotinus, but considered matter to be a theophany of God, a physical (Greek: physis=nature) representation of God, not a manifestation of God. Unlike the Gnostics who for the most part sought to separate their consciousness from their body with asceticism, Kabbalists also recognize creation to be good. Panentheism allows for a better acceptance of our embodied existence without the philosophical pitfalls of pantheism because it never forgets the incomprehensible transcendence of God.

If you notice, pantheistic religions in the west, like Wicca, take joy in the cycles of nature and celebrate them as solstices, equinoxes, lunar cycles (particularly the lunar as symbol of the Eternal Feminine, periodicity, menstrual periods). But religions like Wicca do not speak about transcending the cycles of nature, including cycles of transmigration. Adherents identify more with the material aspect of existence than with the Witnessing Consciousness, or one might say there is a greater identification with the embodied 'soul' than with the 'spirit.' In the Bhagavad Gita, owing to the pantheistic identification with matter as also being God, one can carry out one's duties in the world with greater aplomb, including being a dutiful soldier and killing the enemy (even if he's related to you, which greatly troubled Arjuna until Krishna explained this to him on the battlefield).

The Gita does however make allowance for "the impersonalist yogi" who separates himself from the world and its desires and duties to Self-Realize Krishna-Consciousness in a solitary spiritual manner via meditation. So there is a sense of panentheism in the Gita where Krishna is Realized within and then acknowledged  in every living creature. The greeting 'Namaste' means 'I recognize the divinity in you,' while yet perceiving the existential being (human, cow, dog, etc.).

Just my 2¢.

great post as always, markos

i consider myself a few things but pantheism is what i mainly believe

my definition of pantheism is -everything is everything-  and  -i am the microcosm of the macrocosm-

In the beginning, there was everything. I came from that everything, therefore i am that everything.

we are in a bubble, that bubbles protrudes out experiences (think literally like shooting a load), those bubbles are "the bubbles on the face of God" - (i'm paraphrasing) -- yes, gods are just avatars- but they are also like us- but different, we are all one but we have different states of being, and/or.... (if you like,... doing. For e-prime and shit).

What if the starship gave birth to the universe and the starship remains outside of spacetime..thats why scientists cannot locate it. It also explains how the starship can travel dimensions because its the mother of them all.
