There's no such thing as a "soul."

I think everyone is probably/almost certainly conscious, although I wouldn't treat them any different even if they weren't. What makes a person human is not the fact that they possess consciousness. It's things like personality, knowledge, experience, relationships, things that have biological origins in the brain and would exist biologically even if the person lacked a consciousness. If a person was human in every other way except consciousness, that's still a human being in every way that matters who deserves to be treated like everyone else.

Soul is a translation of the Greek word psyche. Psyche is pre-eminently real.

Every THING has a soul, because every THING is an every ONE.

Even atoms have a soul.

The soul is the spirit body of the material object. It is the universe, entirely, in wave form, with the exception of that object,m chiseled out of it, into that world.

Thats what makes it manifest in that world.

You are as important as a grain of sand on Mars and as insignificant as the Universe entirely.

Every THING is an every ONE, and all of us are That One.

Nothing buy consciousness.

My beliefs on this are complex, much like all of my beliefs. I think you have to start at what defines a soul in this context. If you are referring to what Christians mean when they say soul ie the part of us that lives on after death, then I don't think anyone has a soul because I don't believe in the after life. If you mean consciousness, as in the philosophical/psychological  "I think therefore I am"  sense, then I think everyone has a soul. I define the soul as the light behind someone's eyes that makes them deeper than an actor in this universal play, with a soul their fate isn't written and they can impose will and change upon the world. The soul makes one capable of bettering themselves, high frequency thought, and expanding ones consciousness. I believe it is rare to find the completely soulless golem but they do exist, I have encountered people who I consider soulless, not because they are evil, but because they are remarkable in that they are completely unremarkable.

I believe all people in the world have a soul just some lucky people are highly aware of having one while others dontneven think about it at all. And every other version inbetween.

The connection between mind body and soul is not well understood :lol:

I believe every single object in space has a Soul! But the question is: What is the world soul..and who is it..is it me, or is it you?

On a certain level of consciousness all is living spirit.

Things are not what they seem.

Of course meagre things like the eternal condition upon your sacred soul are fulfilled wishes already.

Wow I just remembered how much I despise everything the new age beliefs represent. Whole lot of rambling and not much taking responsibility for actions. Of course, if there is no hell then it doesn't matter if one of our irresponsible actions results in the death of another meaningless bag of bones losing their temporary existence. Might as well just off everyone that irritates you.

My honest question is this:

Does the soul of an object, say a TV..or a Rock have an innate soul, that has always existed... or did we or I create it for that object..and sort of bring it to life? Animism... can be taken literally..as MAN animating an object for example..or its just principled base definition of a thing being alive..or having a spirit necessarily..

no, I don't believe souls exist and have not seen much in the way of good evidence, though I wouldn't discount the possibility of the immaterial outright, I see no good reason to put stock in it.

maybe, but nothing I've experienced on LSD or shrooms so far in 20 odd trips has convinced me, even seemingly autonomous entities. There are just much cleaner more logical explanations for all this phenomena. Maybe there are souls, I just think the evidence is non existent, and if the only evidence is under intoxication -while not outright disqualifying it- it is a bit hard to take at face value, especially since the primary teaching I've gotten from mushrooms is basically never take anything at face value, even what we tell you
