More jobs being created? The February jobs report had fewer jobs created than the previous two February jobs reports. Get a life.

Since January 2009 it's up 200%

Obama had the best performing stock market in the past century except for bill Clinton.

I'm confused.  Are you insinuating that the president determines how the market performs?

Trump gets zero credit for any stock market performance even now. Hes cruising on Obamas excellent economy. Maybe when he signs a single piece of legislation he can take credit, until then he's just stealing credit for someone else's work. Like he always does.

I'm saying that a presidents policies create the economic environment for market performance.

Earth to koods, Come back bro....

You should probably come up for air every now and then.

Being so attached to an ideology is probably not good for your head :o

A president has indirect influence in stock market performance. Donald Trump however has had direct influence on stock performance. Like when he took his company public and five years later the stock wasn't worth the postage the stock certificates were mailed with.

Non sequiturs? I think you should look up the definition of non sequitur. That is what happens when you let trump run a business, yet people like Webster think he should be running a country.

Ya, but they have a YUGE influence over policy.  I'm pretty sure they have more influence than Congress does, because they're the ones telling Congress what they want, and Congress knows Presidents will veto anything they doesn't like.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

A presidents influence on policy depends on the President and how much support he had from the citizenry.  We haven't had a President with a lot of support for a long time.

Yes, but unless the president has close ties with legislators, the policies he wants to see land on his desk will never materialize in the first place. I'd say its 50/50, given that the president can also executive order shit (Unilaterally "making policy"), maybe 60/40...

Nor have we had a Congress with a lot of support either...
