No STANDING UP for employee rights is making America great.
What part of:

It’s important that we reiterate our values to all of you and make it clear that we support each of our employees. We will continue to value diversity, inclusion, respect, and kindness… you can count on that.

What part of "putting out a politically charged memo using a couple buzz words like 'diversity' that only serves to politicize your staff and make people feel uncomfortable is the opposite of what makes America great" didn't you get? Are you even American

It kinda seems like some higher power was involved in the election of Trump, but more like the American population suddenly became completely blind to all his ugliness, or like if they became bewitched by someone really beautiful and charismatic, except for that Trump is none of those things. When I see Trump speaking, my brain translates his words into: "I am a narcissistic prick. I don't know a shit about anything. I believe lots of things, but I care little about facts and evidence." etc.
The mystery is, why aren't other brains interpreting his words in the same manner. This is truly difficult for me to understand, and almost makes me believe that the American population has been bewitched by some higher power. But maybe Americans just are much more stupid than I previously thought...

Trump is nothing more than the result of a backlash against political correctness and economic betrayal of the working class, I don't know why people find that so surprising.
The same events have already taken place in the UK (Brexit) and now in Italy, France, Germany, Holland, ect.
Mass immigration and globalization have been failures for the native populations, Trump is just playing on those facts. Bought and paid for politicians were never allowed to address those issues.
Obama was really the last straw, this black man that was deemed the champion for the disadvantaged person created the LARGEST wealth and income inequality in over 80 years.

Yeah, well, that doesn't excuse voting for a narcissistic con artist that doesn't care about facts and evidence. If I am disappointed with my car, I don't replace it with a much worse one.

W gave us Obama ... Obama gave us Trump ... God help us with whatever Trump will lead to ... which will probably be Pence within 2 years.

Obama's listening ability ... very poor Obama surrounding himself with incompetent people that rarely changed ... Very High Obama actively cultivating relationships with Congress ... very poor Obama showing an interest in opinions other than his ... rarely Obama inviting innovative thinkers regularly to the white house ... rarely Obama relying on his insular inner circle for all advice ... always
Obama had some traits that really limited h is ability to grow and tap into the vast creativity, innovation and new thinking in this country. He was ultra insular, thin skinned and seemed only interested in his own opinions. Trump is quite different in that regard.

Trump is much worse in all these aspects. The difference is that he might be able to make an idiot believe that he cares about what other people are saying, since he is a con artist / sociopath.
And you really should make a list of the education of all the people Trump surrounded himself with, and compare it to a list of the education of all the people Obama surrounded himself with. I am quite sure you will find that Obama surrounded himself with people that generally had a higher level of education.
Since Trump is quite stupid, he feels intimidated among intelligent / highly educated individuals, because he can't fool them as easily as he can with the idiots.

most definitely...if Trump can actually show he'll listen to his brain-trust, that'd be a massive improvement........though...the brain-trust, itself, worries me a tad. but i think peeps'll keep it under control.

Trump shows such poor judgment to me about the fights he decides to pick that I feel pretty certain he'll be impeached and/or not finish his first term. A President has to be aware of the impact of his actions and words and has to use them with restraint.
Trump is doing the opposite and swatting everything that he sees. That will lead to investigations and lawsuits.
