Ya , pretty inconsequential when you think about the fact that Russia has sold the USA  500 tons of highly enriched uranium that they converted to 15000 tons of low enriched uranium  . We use it in power plants . The program was called megatons for megawatts it started in 1993 and lasted 20 years .
There was only 1271 ton of uranium mined in the us in 2015 .  That won't make very much highly enriched weapons grade material 20% of that is nothing .

  Back when this shit happened uranium was 50 dollars pound, now its about 25 . If I had those mineral rights I would be kicking myself in the balls right now , that's sounds like a shitty spot to be in with a mining venture  .  Especially since the law won't allow you to export the uranium anyway .
