lsd, when's it gonna hit me?

I've heard a bunch of people talk about taking acid and thinking they got ripped, how long should I have to wait after taking it to feel the effects?

I took 2 hits at 10:00 and it's 12:15 now, and i'm only feeling mild effects.

yes it's my first time, the guy said it was "pretty good" but my friends and I aren't sure if we got ripped off or not, Erowid says we should be coming up by now, but it's not very intense at all.

what's the deal?

maybe weak doses.if you take a good dose, you can start feeling it in like 30mintues

This is how I know I'm tripping.
Look at hairs on arm. If you see an arm covered in hair = not tripping. If you see each individual hair as it's own thing, then = tripping.

Also try going about normal activities = cooking, making drinks, working on a project. If you are forgetting to do really obvious things and every now and again you feel like those idiots who are hypnotised and suddenly wake up and realise they've been acting like a chicken, then = tripping.
