hello all im new to the forums as you guys can tell, i have some general questions so here goes, and i appreciate the help...
i used to trip hard on lsd (3-4 paper hits, or 2-3 gels) monthly and alot of times while in school (alot of smoking pot at the same time). about two years ago i had my last trip now ive been getting the itch but i am older and wiser (so they say) and i would like a more spacey, natural, less-intense (paranoid?) trip (i kinda used to enjoy a bad trip), so i have chosen shrooms... now will the trip on shrooms be much more different than the one on LSD? and are there any concerns i should have? should i be treating my mushroom expririence as if it was my first tripping expirience? well hit me back... also is there any shroom you guys recomend? Any tips, suggestions, ideas etc... are very welcome.

It'll be different but similar. Treat it with respect as you would any other psychedelics. I think you'll find the shorter trip duration has its advantages.

I have recently made the transition myself although my lay off from acid was many years. I find mushrooms to be very different than acid. To me it is harder on the mind and body than acid. I sweat like a bastard and my stomach turns a bit and sometimes cramps up. There are less visuals and the closed eye stuff is not nearly as crisp or colorful. I tend to analyze things much less on mushrooms and I do not get those profound thoughts (as though you can solve the mysteries of the world). I most enjoyed doing everyday things on acid and I cannot do that on mushrooms sometimes I just have to lay down and listen to music. I would stick with a medium strength mushroom so you can judge your tolorance.

I find mushrooms to make me MUCH more anxious than LSD. The mellowest trip is from mescaline (Peruvian Torch).
