When my life isn't all busted like it is right now, I'm mostly vegetarian with the exception of having some meat occasionally in/with my dinner. Most of the day I'll eat fruit, nuts, and vegetables, mostly raw, and sit down to one big ass meal at the end of the day. I do this because it's how mankind ate for 99.9% of it's existence. We're not supposed to fill ourselves up eating 3+ meals a day, that shit signals to your body that your work for the day is done and you can relax. It kills your drive. Plus, I know there are plenty of vegetarians that still eat like shit, but for me, it's really hard to do. I always feel a million times better when I eat like this.

I've been vegetarian before for non-ethical reasons up until I was like 18 or so. A ton of my friends were vegetarian or vegan even after I stopped so I learned all these great recipes and ate mainly a vegetarian based diet for a while. I'd like to go back, but not totally restrict meat, but I'd like to focus on a more plant based diet for a bit because the past 6 months I've been living off of hotpockets and chicken nuggets and sometimes I reminisce about the days when I cooked awesome, creative dishes.

I actually randomly dropped about 7-8 lbs on this highly processed diet without trying, but I think it's just because I haven't really been terribly hungry or finding a whole lot of enjoyment in food, hence living off microwaved hot pockets for months.

I'm not either, but I've lowered the amount of meat I eat quite a bit over the last year er so.

Tofurky sausages are awesome, they taste great, have a good texture and you don't even really cook em, you just gotta heat em up cuz they're not meat

Also,
smoothies are pretty much the greatest things ever. Get a blender if you don't have one.

I went vegetarian for a month or two while incarcerated.

Its something i feel like i can  do if i needed to and might even give it a try again if only to limit my exposure to hormones in meat etc..

I love peanut butter so its not too hard for me. i can easily give up red meat but really enjoy Chicken.

Vegetarian for 2 years. I enjoy it. Makes it easier to make healthier food choices as I have to cook most of my own food. Can't really go out to a fast food joint when I'm feeling lazy. Lots of beans, rice, and fresh vegetables. I eat a lot of eggs and dairy too.

I'm an ovo-lacto pescatarian.
Which means I will eat eggs, dairy, and fish. But I won't eat pork, beef, chicken etc etc..
I couldn't go back if I tried. I feel 1000 times better, I love the way my body feels without red meats and poultry.
Best thing I've ever done for myself ever.

I think it's completely un-sportsmanlike to eat plants that are not able to run-away or defend themselves.

So go eat literally nothing except animals and then make a thread later when you have a heart attack. That's totally your choice.

Also your post makes no sense, factory farmed animals can't run away and can barely if at all defend themselves. Killing caged animals is far far more un-sportsmanlike.

I eat only fish and poultry. I was doing pescatarian for a while but I started eating poultry again. I don't eat dairy but that is mostly for health reasons and not for ethical reasons.
