People here always jump down your throat for saying watching movies is fun while tripping. Sure, I do think it's best to be outdoors in a pretty place or whatever but watching a movie in your basement can be just as fun if not more fun sometimes. All different kinds of movies are good, I prefer something animated with a happy theme though....easier to follow and less likely to freak me out. Also something with a simple plot that is easy to follow is good, cause the drugged out mind gets confused easily. I've found watching a movie also gives the the trip sort of a guide to follow, and helps you keep a little bit of a grasp on reality instead of going into your the crazy insanity that is inside your head....for better or for worse.

sucks what happened man something like that happened to me and my friends but not that bad. my friend just got 2.5 grams stolen and we had to chase these guys who jacked it for like 2-2 and a half miles but then we lost them. it was fun chasing them but i was pissed we let them get away with my friends bud. Kinda makes u wonder what sick world we live in when u cant trust other people. like why cant we be indians and settle our disputes with like arrow shooting contests? or peace pipes?

Thats a messed up story dude. I can't stand these gangbangin thug types. Oh well, thats the consequence of the war on drugs, it leaves the dealing to those types of scum. Anyways, I prefer just being in nature, but if i were to watch a movie, i'd go with something with no plot, or at least a very simple one. I would try:

Fantasia (either one)
Baraka
Waking Life (must see)
any of the Qatsi films
2001 Space Oddessy (try replacing the film soundtrack with Echoes by Pink Floyd in the final segment)
Some Bill Plympton animation

pretty much anything that is easy to follow, has cool visuals, and a good soundtrack.

Fear and Loathing (This and Donnie Darko are my "stand bys" in case I start to freak)
Yellow Submarine
Wizard of Oz (Return to Oz is cool to, but a bit darker)
Akira
A Clockwork Orange
Pi
Big Trouble in Little China (  :grin  )
Goonies (my wife will always put this in for some reason if we're tripping) (I've grown to associate it with good memories so I really dig it these days)

Hmmm...

I'll think of more later.

I reckon trippy drug movies are great if you are trippin but only if it a fairly light trip, without full blown visuals.

But if it;s a stronger trip definately cool choons n a trip into nature - i walked around in the snow on New Years Eve - totally magic - it felt like Narnia lol.

I would say watch the original batman film, me and my friend found it immense on shrooms.

I dont get why people make such a big fuss about watching films on shrooms, dont people understand that you can enjoy "fun" trips AND more insightful trips?

never watch pink floyd - the wall.

I was sober and almost died watching it.

that was a freaky movie for sure. very good though.

I like nature and my mind as my focus. it opens up a world you only thought you knew about.
