I like to usualyy have a decent movie going and off that list I can say that the Yellow Submarine is some fucked up shit! It will have you confused in a sec with the brits talking and you can't understand a word!
And I would suggest ALice In Wonderland, very goofy.

I heard fantasia is trippy, I'm going to try it on my 10 dried gram trip tomorrow night. I'm also going to pop princess mononoke into the dvd player too. That's a good movie, even if you're sober. It'll be hard to watch it if you're getting strong visuals, but its pretty much about gods and stuff. This person who is a real bitch wants to kill a god, and it all gets fucked up, I don't want to spoil it for you. Its a GREAT movie!

I dont think Requiem for a Dream is a good trip movie. Its pretty twisted as it is.

who told you to trip durring john waters movies? they are twisted and probally fucking with you, those movies are gross.
Altered States - never saw it
Requiem for a dream - terrable depressing fucked up movie, good, but NOT when tripping (unless your a freak)
Serpant & the Rainbow - never saw it
Yellow Submarine - the absolute ULTIMATE tripping movie, make sure you watch the DVD version, 24 bit audio makes it that much better, NEVER watch this movie sober.
The Wall - a good movie to smoke too, but way depressing to trip to.
the holy mountain - never saw it
el topo - never saw it
sante sangre - never saw it
pink flamingos - this is a horrible fucked up movie, full of rank sexual imagry, famous for the scene that a transvestite (Divine) that eats REAL dog shit, do not watch this movie tripping or not tripping, its gross/
female trouble - same director as pink flamingos(john waters), and same grossness problems, but not as exteremt
multiple maniacs - never saw it
desperate living - antother john waters film, gross, couldn't sit through more than 20 mins of it
polyester - john waters
serial mom - a later john waters movie, not gross but stupid.
If you want some of the BEST movies to trip to try yellow submarine, Akira, or Spirited away(new release), of Ghost in the SHell DVD makes it way cooler. surround sound perferred
after watching those you'll get an idea of where to go from there.

Spirited Away is made by the same animation studio as princess mononoke, and its ten times better, watch it tripping, and trip well

I'll tell a little about the ones i know
Requiem for a dream - great movie but depressing...about junkies
Serpant & the Rainbow - not bad but kinda spooky...about a guy who has a run in with a voodoo shaman.
Yellow Submarine - never liked it at all
The Wall - good but depressing
sante sangre - subtitled movie about circus people. The son and his mother go nuts...pretty disturbing.
if you're trying to avoid anything that may get you down, then most of em arent very good choices. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas may be a good choice. Despite the name, its not depressing, and its a serious trip movie.
Personally i prefer watching 'trip' movies while stoned or sober. If i have the attention span while tripping i like a good comedy movie or something like Gladiator.

That movie is downright disturbing, however it is a very good flick.

I wouldn't recommend wathing Requiem for a Dream while tripping for a good time. It is a very powerful movie. While, like Pi, the directors previous movie, the cinematography is wonderful, it definately will keep your trip somewhat down and deep.
