i know Alien Dreamtime is supose to be great. So that one is baught and in the mail, but i was wounder what my fellow shroomers fav. videos are?

I cannot imagine sitting in front of the TV while tripping... what a waste. Watch the sunset instead... I'm not sure that anything else can compete.

If you insist on the TV, you might look into the minds eye. There are a few of them... computer generated animation from the early 90's set to music. I haven't watched one in a long long time, but from what I remember, the first one was decent. Anybody else seen these more recently?

yea i hate TV too, but come on why not have some visual aids playing in the background of your trip its just another thing to get lost in.

Watch the Animatrix. That movie is crazy trippy. It also ties together the two maxtrix movies pretty well.

I tried to watch the matrix reloaded the other night while tripping and it just didn't work..I started getting some really bad vibes. I know its not a movie, but my best friend bought the Family Guy seasons and we watch those quite a bit when we trip if we don't feel like going outside...good times

i wached the matrix reloaded and tripped so hard
in the car ride hame i was playing with a magical green ball that sizzled and bubbled as it twirled
it occored to me the next day that i was in the back seat listining to wihte rabbit and giggiling like an idiot about giant orange beattles with my freinds dad in the car

There are these DVD's that are made just for tripping...They are called the minds eye collection and ar basically really trippy computer graphic art-desigms-aliens-trippy creatures etc...The music is also really psy-trancey ambient. Theres no story line just tight visuals. I have 4 of them and I love bustin out a box of nitrous and gazing at these.

Right on. The best show is in the real world, be it nature, architecture, the sunlight or the stars.
Of course, high enough doses and the best visuals are gotten by closing your eyes.
But I agree with Seuss - tv is a fucking waste on anything more than the easiest trips. If it's enough to really affect you vision, don't watch the idiot box. I know we are a minority here, as many like to "get lost in" the idiot box in shrooms, but it's a fucking waste of time and sacrement.

I just watched Stallion: Spirit of the Cimmaron (or whatever the disney horse movie is called). It would be a great movie to trip to, very little actual talking so it is easy to follow. Most of the communicating is shown with emotion (cause they are horses), also beautiful scenery and and nice happy-plotline.

The plots of movie become very boring to me when shrooming.

But for some reason I love musicals when shrooming. "Moulin Rouge" or "O Brother Where Art Thou". The first part of Brother blew my mind, the old black guy on the train track, and when all the people in white are singing in the forest, was amazing to watch. I dont enjoy those movies while sober tho.

I find the best experience is watching a movie after coming down.

I'm sick of people not realizing that Yellow Submarine is THE BEST trip movie.

I'm all for people having their own opinions, but come on, Yellow Submarine should be the official greatest trip movie hands down.

movies are nice to easy the anicipation while coming up.  i usually get antsy and have to leave the once i'm "there."

anyways, like pattern said, plots can be distracting.  try baraka, microcosmos, and i like the grateful dead movie :wink:

Yellow Submarine is the ultimate trip movie! I watched it non-stop as a child, whenever I watch it nowadays it brings back so many memories and I definately intend to watch it while tripping.

like others have said, fantasia and yellow sub. i'd also add alice and wonderland plus waking life for sure

my all time favorite though is the simpsons episode when homer has a mushroom trip....i mean he has a spiritual hallucination from a really hot 'chili pepper' and his eyes become all dilated...right.

anyway the episode not only has AMAZING visuals when he starts the trip (look for when he's all liquidy and then when his spirtual guide the coyote descends into the screen) but also somethings he says make just incredible sense when youre tripping, like when he says "I speak of a deeper wisdom. The problem, Homer, is that the mind is always chattering away with a thousand thoughts at once...Clarity is the path to inner peace." Somehow i know EXACTLY what he is talking about when im tripping. plus there's the stuff about the solemate which i find interesting too. btw, this was my least favorite episode when i was younger and hadnt done anything more than alcohol. now its probably my favorite episode. kinda crazy.
