Angels are not dead humans

I do not believe in angels, however I am unaware of any holy book that equates angels with human beings. They are as distinct as Hobbits and Elves.

So when a young person dies tragically, please do not say that heaven has gained another angel. OK?

Angels were always perplexing to me growing up in churches. When the teachers weren't bewildered By the proposition that if god had created an angel who fell to be cast away for damnation (satan) then he in himself created all evil, they were blatantly ignoring the idea that god had created these angelic beings simply to praise him while all the while acting astonished at the birth of vanity.

It is somewhat interesting to me that all of the worlds major religions include the concept of the angel within it's doctrine. The Hindus have angels in the form of devas, beings on another plane of existence which control the elements of our planet. Buddhism has them as well although most of it is likely inherited from Hinduism. Still they are known to exist according to advanced monks of Tibet throughout the ages. Meher Baba makes the claim that the Gods within the Greek and Roman culture, the Gods of Olpympus are actually angels.. interesting idea at the least.

It is also quite curious to me that the "arc angel" Gabrielle from the Christian bible is also found in the Muslim religion, as he supposedly dictate the Koran to the prophet Mohammad. Interesting correlations.. another one is how the Chakra system seems to be in many cultures around the world, perhaps coming up with the idea independently (?) If the religions are based on some reality you would expect to find correlations in them as they would be perspectives of the same truth.

Angels are false. The only reference to such beings is in the Norse Pantheon. The Valkaries are somewhat Angelic, but they are all female. Demons are far more valid throughout the ancient and modern world. In every civilization Demons or evil spirits are talked about.
