Hey T-meth! I got some nasty pics for you if you still have interest in this thread!
These 2 jars are over 6 months old and started out looking bacterial.
Threw a handful of coir in one of them some weeks back just to see what would grow:

Old contamed rye jar:


same shit with coir: (not rhizomorphs :tongue2:)

Shouldn't look - what happens when you absentmindedly unscrew the needle from the nearly empty PE syringe AND drop it on the floor before continuing the "sterile" culture - "it's mold, Jim."



Should look - Chitwan, 2 weeks after innoc with about a half CC under STERILE culture:



Same time on both cultures...

I'm a video major and I'll have to say that the pic of the shroom through the breath hole of the fruiting chamber is one of the best pics I have ever seen. Perfectly framed and just breath taking. Kudos!!

This has also been a huge help for me! Thanks for all your time and effort in assembling this guide.

Just to add, no one mentions the dreaded gay rabbit contam. I dread that one the most. Imagine waking up to that in the morning...ugh

I don't want to beat a dead horse but I'd like to add overlighting. I haven't seen this anywhere but I think it definitely effected my friends grow. 4 6500k bulbs were drying out the substrate in my opinion. Things have been good since the reduction to one bulb.

I always seem to let jars and tubs grow out, unless forest green, nothing beats personal experience.
