LC stands for liquid culture. also there no need to go to the length of modifing a refridgerator for a fruiting chamber. the way i see it the following parts are needed for a nice fruiting chamber self cooled.
1 plastic cantainer(for my example a clear 90qt steralite) 4 generic aluminm heatsinks with fans 2 peltier heat transfer device(used in computer overclocking and medical equipment) 1 250W 12v power supply 1 bracket to hold the heatsinks togeather 1 18" floresent lamp 2 light timer 1 tube of silicone glue
ok so this is what you do.
ok so the hardest part about this is going to be mounting the heatsinks to the peltier. for those ofyou who dont know what this is its basicly a single direction thermo electric transfer device. it looks like 2 ceramic plates with 2 wires comming from it. one side gets cold the other hot simple?. ok what you wana do is make some sort of basic clamp to hold the heatsinks togeather. some simple strips of metal and some machine screws and nuts will work be creative.
ok once you have the sinks clamped togeater you need to cut a holes for them to mount your going to want to place one at each of the far sides of your fruiting chamber. once mounted get the wires for all the fans and everything squared away outside the chamber and silicone that puppy shut.
ok now what your gona do is wire the 2 peltier and 4 fans to your power supply and make sure everything is working as planed. the inside heatsinks should be geting icy cold and the outside ones warm. if either of them is reversed simply reverse the wires and it will work out properly.
drill ventilation holes in the chamber and close with polyfill or other filter media. next arange your lighting if your lid is clear just set the light ontop of that and plug it into the timer on 12/12, if its opaque you will need to put a window into it this can be achived simply cuta hole in the lid and seal with heavy weight plastic sheet or a piece of plexi glass.
the final step is to turn it on and let the chamber get cold and measure how cold it gets and set it up on a timer that will maintain this temprature this will take some toying based on room temprature, size of the fruit chamber, ect, ect. one other option would be to install a thermostat but thats quite a bit of additional work.
