Yeah it's Kimax.... very similar to pyrex though.

KIMAX® is the trademark identifying all glassware including tubing and rod, made of KIMAX borosilicate glasses, produced and sold by Kimble Chase. When used alone, KIMAX signifies that the glass is KG-33: when the KIMAX is followed by a suffix, the glass used is one of the other Kimble borosilicate glasses, e.g. KIMAX-51 means that the glass is N-51A and KIMAX-35 means that the glass is KG-35.

It's mixed actually, a few of them are Pyrex, most of them are Kimax.
And yes, that is a quart jar, and they are fricking huge.
No idea what I'm going to do with these but I could literally eat dinner out of them.

I think I'm just going to use them as normal plates or long term storage plates.
But i'm going to do a mycelium timelapse with 1..  or contam timelapse.

Well, there's always the brighter side.  Here's one of the other two jars exhibiting substantial myc bluing after (failed) attempt to bust it up on the tire.  Had to dig these out to case 'em. :lol:
