Might be a dumb question but I haven't heard a personal account of his psychedelic use or anything like that, hmmm. Anyways, a very amazing man, indeed.

its safe to assume he did given his intense interest in the subject, but i'm not too sure myself.

I've always wondered the same. I've never read or heard him say any subjective experience. He always talks about the subjects in the study, an objective perspective.

obviously he doesn't want people to discredit him for advertising that he has experienced it as well. It's a shame really, people can be very immature about these things, causing him to hide it.

Yeah, the same sort of discrediting that steers other scientists away from pursuing psychedelic research. He talks in depth about how much of a pain in the ass it was to get approval on all levels and got to a point of considering giving up. Which I guess is the same sort of discrediting that we as individuals deal with on a societal level. If you were to say you had a profound vision on a psych, they would think you're full of shit or delusional on drugs and that what you had seen is of your own creation. Know what I'm sayin?

Yeah, I was taking this point of view as well. It is really a unfortunate thing but it would be very interesting to hear Strassman's own experiences and comparing it to his studies. Really dig your drawings btw!

Charles Grob answered this question in an interesting way. Basically he said that if he had he could be attacked for being irresponsible for using them and if he hadn't he could be attacked for giving them to people without using them himself (and knowing what he was giving people).

I think its safe to say most of these researchers must have had some experiences.
