Super,

That's some fucked up shit that happened to the Driver.  Makes me hate cops all the more.  I hate the attitude and corruption of the police during festivals, but come on man, you brought this on yourself.

You had a story and you told it, cool, we've all been there and we feel for you.  Who hasn't made a dumb move and got busted?  But man, you're acting like an oppressed teenager with this whole 'bring down the Sheriff's office, and I made some friends in high places' attitude.
Don't act like some kind of whiney teenager who is going to buck the system... you got busted for doing something stupid homie, deal with it like a man.

If you take it to trial you will probably lose, probably have to pay an assload of money to a lawyer, and will than probably get smoked and end up going to prison for several years.  People cop out for a reason, trial is usually a bad idea unless you can beat the charge.

He got busted with a vial of DOI at Langerdo, which is a shitty drug to have that much of anyway.  It ended up getting thrown out I believe, unfortunately people that brought good drugs there weren't afforded that luxury.

Curious. If it goes to trial, is hearsay (my word vs theirs) gonna convince a jury? There's no camera's in the cells. I stayed in marion county jail for 31 days about 6 years ago and while I was there they broke one guys arm, and 2 of them entered my cell and kicked the shit out of me as well. The officer that broke the guys arm actually got investigated (and probably got paid vacation as a result) and the two officers in my case got nothing. Sure if someone gets murdered people are going to have to be held accountable but if they have a good story most likely they will just get fired.

marion county jail is super fucked up.
When I was in there, in the week I was in the pod section, two guys hung themselves in separate pods within 2 days of each other, in full view of the guard station. One guy was sick as shit and needed his meds for a heart condition, the pod was overcrowded and they had him sleeping on the floor. The nurse denied him his meds and said he was full of shit and he went into some kind of shock the next day and they had to take him to the ER, we never heard what happened to him.

Most county jails are fucked up like that, nurses that works there are usually fucking bitches.  Most guards treat everyone like shit and really don't give a fuck about you.  I was having serious pains were my gunshot wound was and they left me in the infirmary for like 10 hours and I never even saw the dr.  The nurse just said you are find without even looking at me and gave me 2 ibuprofen.
