Conjoined Twins... Some crazy shit!

A few months ago I took a good dose of fresh mushrooms and was flipping though channels and I stopped on a show about conjoined twins. At first I thought I was hallucinating but after a minute I realized I wasn't. It's just not what you expect to see when your peaking. I ended up watching part of it and the was this girl (or girls) who had one set of legs but two torso's growing up from them. 2 heads, 4 arms, 2 midsections, and 2 legs. The girls mother was saying how well the girls get along and cooperate wit one another; I stood up out of my chair and said "Well duh! They're attached they have to!"

I saw those two, kinda split down the middle, their body formed a Y shape right? They were having serious problems with the development of the spinal cords, and it would eventually require surgery.

All this and they weren't even teenagers.

I would be awfully lonely if I was conjoined with a twin and later in life, after being so used to sharing my body with my brother, getting surgically separated for health reasons.

That is exactly why a lot of adult conjoined twins choose to stay the way they are, as opposed to getting the surgery.

I just watched this special on conjoined twins on TLC or something not too long ago, and they interviewed a bunch of them. They all seemed quite happy with the way that they were. They respect each others privacy (as much as possible) and co-operate. It's really neat.

There was one set of 1 year old girls that were attached at the top of thier heads. Their parents finally decided to go through with the seperation thingy and the girls were really depressed without each other and they kept reaching for the other one expecting her to be there.

I think one might have died, but I don't remeber exactly.

I don't think that I could deal with that. I would want to be seperated for sure...
But then I guess I can't really say that, cause I don't know what it's like.
I think it would be hard though to never have a chance to be alone... ever. I love my alone time.
