man all I can say is, while I genuinely do love the land of North Florida and while there are generally tons and tons of good, awesome people...

the pigs here are of a different breed.  You gotta understand that when you come to Live Oak, of all places in Florida, you are literally entering the most back water, most preserved vision of Old Florida that exists.  Around here most people ONLY drink alcohol as far as recreational drugs go and when Wanee fest rolls around the cops always have a field day.  The most exciting thing that happens every year in Live Oak is the Wanee fest...

I'm genuinely sorry you got hemmed up with this shit in my neck of the woods but Wanee fest is the LAST place I would hand off any drugs to anyone that I didn't personally know.  The cops around here look forward to this fest every year.

I just finished reading the whole post (ADHD sorry..) and Wanee fest has always gotten people arrested.  It's never been a super chill festival, although it does seem a little extreme.  A new Sherriff in Suwannee county doesn't mean a whole lot to me either.  I know the cops in this area pretty well and they all live for busting dope smoking hippies.  I fucking hope Haynes, ABB, and everyone else does pull out of Wanee... every year I read about shitty stories like yours.  it pisses me off.

sorry to hear of your trouble, personally I stay to underground and private gatherings so that shit like that does not happen- too many assholes in law enforcement, picking on peace lovers because they know that we wont fight back,

I find it Ironic that these backwater fucks are surrounded by wild cubes, I guess that is nature's way of putting help in the path of those who need it most, I hope some of them mistake a wild cube for some beef jerky or cheap beer, maybe it could lead to some enlightenment, or at least make them less of an asshole, 

I hope that you beat those charges, I think that the lapse of Miranda and that you were otherwise clean you got a good shot.

That is HORRIBLE news man. If I had known you were going I would have warned you..
I grew up in central FL, and actually lived and worked at that park for awhile... cops there are unbelievably aggressive and corrupt.
Several of my friends have been arrested at Suwanee fests... there's always tons of undercovers, they have a field day busting people left and right.

Thank god I got out of Florida.. fuck that state!!

Fortunately you should be able to get the charges dropped with a good lawyer, but you may have to wait for them to test it.
I somehow doubt they'd bother prosecuting you via the Analogue Act for such a small amount, but who knows.

FUCK, reading about this just pisses me off. :crankey:

They didn't know what you had sold them and then charge you with selling mdma. :sad: They'll have to drop some of these undoubtedly hundreds if not thousands of cases.

the answer is really simple country towns still exist where the cops are the ultimate form of power and in situations like the ones in the OP.  the cops are always right no matter what. 

Live Oak, Florida is definitely one of these towns.

come riot down in Live Oak LOL, you'll get killed and your family will not see a penny for it.  the South is a totally different world than everywhere else in America thats for sure.
