without living?
A slightly rhetorical question. If you feel like you have an answer with depth, then you may answer the question. For those whom feel obligated to give me an obvious troll of an answer, I urge you to please fuck off.

Life without living would be a man in a vegetative coma.

You tell me. Ask the blind man. He still 'sees'.

'Living' in a more metaphysical sense, rather than a biological sense.
Dig deeper.

I know what you are getting at.You can work hard all your life, and save up for retirement.Never spend more than you should.Have all these great investments, stocks, and so on.Unless you have lived and experienced the true essence of what life can reveal to you,you haven't "lived."
I want to be of the world, not just in it.
Experience life for all it can be for yourself. If the aforementioned things make you truly happy,so be it.I do believe that one can have a happy medium with work and play mixed together.I am living proof of that.I will continue to be so for as long as I can.

An unlived life is the 'unexamined life' as put forth by Socrates/Plato. You can live a full life, but if you just move through it without any inquiry to what it is you are doing, than have you really lived?
Just like even if you can see, if you pay no attention to what you do see you will never remember it and it will have no lasting effect. In other words, you saw nothing.

Sometime before I'm 30 I plan on leaving my town, traveling across north america and over seas as well. One of the main things I want to do in my life is visit other places on earth, experience different cultures, and experience how others in our world live.

Yes. I agree with you all.
Now, how do you guys define 'living' in a romantic context? socio-romantic context?
Is promiscuity an experience or a sin?
I need your answers to infer answers of my own.

What do you mean by romantic?

It's really up to the individual, it can be an experience of sin.

You're taking a literal approach.
I want you to think deeper. Philosophical, rather than actual.
Life without living is not death.
Life without life is death.
Living is not a biological endeavor in this discussion. Living is an action. Living is a response to life.
And by 'romantic', I mean 'loving'. Anything that has to do with personal romance. Anything intimate. Is it really that hard to understand the context of this thread?

Exactly, it's as philosophical as it gets.
Life without living, in your sense is death,
Think of it as, there are living dead people.
Your right Life without life is death, in a non-philosophical approach.

Well romance has two different meanings, just like many other words.
Such as romantic writing.
So I was wanting to understand what you meant..

Life without living is just an existance. Nothing more. If you do not experience all that you can, then you have merely existed for a period of time. Although the definition of "living" varies from individual to individual, I believe that if you accomplish tasks in your life that you believe to be important then you have "lived."
...I don't know if that's what you meant, but there ya go
