impossible hypothetical on human sexuality

hypothetically

how might sexuality manifest itself in someone who had been raised from birth to have no knowledge of the opposite sex?

i don't have any answers, which is why I'm asking you all what you think

Interesting. I wonder if instinct would kick in and the person would just know what to do. Or maybe a model of sexuality is necessary. Or maybe a combination of both.

I reckon instinct plays the biggest part. Although, a model would be necessary to learn appropriate courtship rituals etc...

would the person even be able to express sexuality though?
what would they be mentally relating it to?

what i mean is, a normal person sexualizes the opposite sex. that's what sexuality is directed towards ... what it's projected on to if you will.

what could this hypothetical person project their sexuality onto?

i'm not sure we can have coherent thoughts about an emotion or intuition unless we have an entity to project that feeling towards ... to experience the emotion in relation to.

which i suppose suggests that such an individual might still have the emotions but not the coherent thoughts ... i imagine that would confound their senses quite a bit.

you have to remember that sexuality is deep rooted in all of us, like eating and breathing.

My mom worked with a bunch of mentally challanged people and im not talking rain main types im talking drooling catatonic man children and they ALL have intense ass sexual desires.

even if someone doesnt know about it its still as much a part of them.

I think if an 18 year old guy and an 18 year old girl who have never seen a member of the opposite sex met each other by chance, they would figure out how to have sex by themselves. They would be extremely horny, and fondling each others' bodies until they pressed the right buttons. :smirk:

to clarify, i wasn't talking about just being raised in isolation until age 18 or whatever

i was thinking like a group of people of one sex who never in their lives got any knowledge of the opposite sex

I think they they would still discover it on their own, without any outside teaching. :shrug:
I was around 5 when I discovered it was pleasant to touch myself, it shouldn't be so different for anyone else.

I think part of that depends on the beliefs held by the same sex members who are around said hypothetical person. If those same sex individuals love to fulfill their need via anal intercourse, then this hypothetical individual will most likely express his sexuality by having sex with another man. :shrug:
