Cyanescens season late?
    #992276 - 10/25/02 10:49 AM (21 years, 5 months ago)

When is cyanescens season going to start already? I've been to all my favorite spots and nothing nothing nothing!! I thought that the season should be in full swing by now.

Anybody else out there having any luck in the greater seattle area finding our cyanescens friends yet?

I first started finding them a couple weeks ago....

They're around, but mostly in sprinkler irrigated areas, due to the lack of moisture.  This leads to many shroomers converging on the same areas and thus, it's pretty tough picking lately.  You gotta be there first.  I've had a couple patches raped this week.  It's all good though, I was there for the first flushes, I just wish the rapists would leave the little pins to mature and start cutting the shrooms at the ground instead of pulling out big clumps of mulch with them or leaving a patch of 2" stems  , but that's another post, heh.  We need a nice downpour for a few days to wake up the unirrigated patches and provide plenty of mush for all, but it doesn't look like that will be coming any time soon unfortunately.  Hopefully I'm wrong.

Yeah... in seattle people are getting more aware of spots i use to have all to myself. Been waiting on rain for a couple days but i have found some small cyans and ringers, and talked to some people who said the day before that they'd found many. but they're there, just pray for rain.

This is my first year of research and hunting. I've been out everyday for the past week, finding lots of dry environments that I think look like a good cyan habitat (but I don't trust my instincts).

Needless to say, it's really a bummer to come home empty handed, especially because it's my first season hunting.

Rain please!  :obama:
