there are a small pecentage of mushrooms growing in the pacific northwest all year long, but psycho active mushrooms really only grow from early autumn to early winter. the further south you go, the later the season starts and stops. up here in seattle, for instance, the liberty caps and stuntzii start popping in mid september, and cyanescens, azurescens (if you can find them) and beaocystis come up more into october.

Stick to the rainy areas of oregon, where the humidity is high. (the western part of the state) generally.

Hey Mattso, I have been picking P. stuntzii for about three weeks now from several lawns with authomatic sprinkler systems. But you are right about the liberty caps, late September.
