Brown spots in the colinization

ok guys, sorry i have no pics to help you out here but i can try to explain as good as possible. In two of my jars i have pretty good colonization. but there are brown spots within that colonization.Sorta like the color of the brown rice flour. Is this contam or is it ok? Thanks bye :confused:

I assume that you are using the PF Tek. Are you sure those are not just chunks of vermiculite?

yes i am using the pf tek......so what do you think? do think its a contam? has this happened to you before?

if they dont change in size or color i wouldnt worry about it. you can always make certain after you birth the cakes.
