Brown spots on my caps! HELP QUICK!

I have some EQs that have been developing for around 5 days. After all gained brown heads and waited a couple days it appears that some have a brown spot on them.It is actually making the cap look like there is a dent where its at. It also has a wet look. It is a little darker than the cap itself. Are these beginner aborts?If so tell me quick so I can go tear em off.

What could it be...? it looks like the spots could rot or something...Oh and what if you have some aborts but they are part of a cluster? Wont it damage the others by removing the one? One more question...What does it mean when there is mycelium growing on stems? Rh too high or too low? heard both. Thanks! Ill keep an eye on those mushies and let you all know what happens.

I dont know...I couldn't tell you from your description. Just make sure the dont turn black (abhort) and they will most likely be just fine.

Most likely. The rot shouldn't get too out of control (effect the underlying mycelium) before you are able to mature and pick the surrounding mushrooms.

IMHO: Could be both.

Are they dents in the cap that look darker or is the cap surface actually breaking down on to what looks (and feels) like rotten mushroom slime?

If it's the latter, it may be a bacterial invection, in which case you should NOT eat them.. molds are one thing, bacterial bloom is a whole other monster, and one you dont want to toy with..

if they are simply darkened dents, make sure you dont have condensed watter dripping off of the roof of your grow chamber, I had that problem once, a quick make shift drip shield and the problem went away.
