Ripped by people on the Shroomery

how many of you have been ripped off by some one here on the shroomery either in real life or through the mail?

a couple years ago i sent a guy 60.00 for a pressure cooker, a few cult. supplies and a cracker for nitrous.

he kept in touch until the day he got the MO and cashed it. after that he ignored my pms and that was it. there was really nothing else i could do.

yeah it was pretty shitty. i should have known it was too good to be true, but you never know. some people are just real generous.

he was like 4 states away.

he had one trade rating and i didnt have any. he told me that because i didnt have any i needed to send first. i was new to this site anyway. i think it was my 2nd week on or some shit. the was so long ago. i think it happened in the early months of 2006. i dont even remember the guys name.

I got beat for $120. I don't want to discuss any details.  I was blinded by the light and I got screwed.  He was also permabanned.

yup, i got had for just $60 one time.  But it was worth sending the kkk, neo-nazis, jehovas witnesses, mormons, and other extremest groups for a home visit.  As well as the guy becoming part of the socialist and communist parties of america...plus a hundred or so 'bill me later' magazines.

Really burned me twice since i spent so much time, but it made me feel better.

Within the last year.  I was upset at the time, but 120 bucks is not that big of a loss to me.  I'm over it.  If I ever saw the dude in person I'm sure the anger would come back, but I doubt that will ever happen.  On a lighter note I have met some cool people from this site.

yup, they have to have decent trade and general ratings. i also research their post and kind of watch them for a few days.
