Damnit Jerry was just like David in the aspect that you could string up a mop n they could make it sound like a symphony...damn good vocals also :smile:Ripple is such a good dude here...I love him n gotta meet him `someday....

yeah that's true of lots of great music, but with The Dead it seems that you hear new and different parts of the song every time you hear it!

Sometimes I'll just listen to Phil's bass for the whole song! he plays almost his own lead behind Jerry :cool:

Morning Dew is one of my favs also...and yeah Phils bass is a lot better than most you will ever hear...I saw Marshall Tucker band once and their bass player pulled off about the same thing
