The Shroomery Facebook 'Unban' Group

Hey guys,

I wanted to slip over here and take advantage of the anonymity - Try doing this on FaceBook and the power tripping admins will shitcan me.

When Shroomery was down, we were using the Facebook group to communicate and access info, because I'll use buckshot for mouthwash before I go and read mycotopia.

I joined the "So You Were Banned From The Shroomery WTF?" because I felt like it would make for some great drama to read, in my feed.

One of the first posts I see is my buddy who sells flow hoods, talking about how he was banned months prior because of the influx of 'thank you!' posts, this guy will sell you a Fan Filter Unit and have it shipped in the week. He's done streaks to help the community, he's even said he's sold over 300 units.

He's the fuckin flow hood man and the lazy ass Shroomery page admins banned him.

I've had plenty of cool interactions here with mods, and on FB it's always fun to message the ones who aren't all full of themselves. Thing is, they're all pretty far in between, because pressure cooking fucking grains and pouring jello shots apparently is the key to let you be a piece of shit to people.

If you get bothered by people commenting on a group post, maybe being a page admin isn't the right gig for you.

Did ya'll shitcan him because you don't want him cutting in on profits with your sponsors? Because I'll restate, he has never advertised in the fucking group. Yes, I mad.

But yeah, ya'll need to unban my mans Jié. He's not advertising in the group, and your admin over there, 'Nathaniel' is over there, being a fucking bitch, twisting the guy's words and still hasn't fucking unbanned him. Would like to talk to that guy outside alone. Main problem w this fucking hobby is shit like this; guy finds a way to massively provide for the community and he does it perfectly, but he's either not sucking admin cock or not paying protection money to the big wigs; bunch of lazy ass page admins turn off any post comment after 30 mins and ban someone after they make serious contributions to the community. Glad I already learned what I needed to eh

I'm sorry that happened, that sounds frustrating and I hope it didn't discourage your friend too much. The folks over at the Shroomery Facebook group usually seem to do a good job and I'm grateful for the refuge they provided during our recent downtime. But you should know that group is unofficial and is not run by or affiliated with this site. It is independently operated with the blessing of Shroomery administrators to provide a Facebook presence for people who prefer that medium. However, it isn't overseen by the Shroomery and does not share the Shroomery's staff, resources, guidelines, or privacy and tracking protection. So, questions or concerns should be directed to the group operators since they're the ones who can actually help. I know many of those guys and they're a reasonable bunch so I'd encourage you to just talk to them and see if you can sort things out. And now that we're online again, tell your friend he's welcome back on this site for the authentic Shroomery experience! :cheers:
