i dont remember my dreams anymore and when i do dream they're so restrained and dull that they seem to be just like any other day ... if i remember a dream its myself going to work, cashing my check, waling my dog, watching TV, going to a party and the events are not the least bit out of the ordinary ... just like every party i've been to my entire my life. dreams so inline with the normailties in life that i sometimes confuse them with my everyday life.
i hear people have these wierd dreams ... my g/f told me a dream that she was shot in the head and she felt the warm blood dripping down from her temple. scary as hell but man i would love to have some bit of that. my friend told me that maybe your on the right track in life and that you dont need to be told anything in your dreams i'd would love the fact but im no (place name of your higher being or teacher here)
any help or tips that you cans can throw at me would be greatly appreciated
thanx in advance

hmm that's interesting. I don't know what advice I can give for someone in that situation.. except give it time. How long has this been occurring? Chances are you need some variety in your life. Be spontaneous, go on adventures, have fun. Your dreams will come back in all their vivid madness.

"Did you ever have a job that you hated, worked really hard at? Long, hard day at work, finally you get to go home, get in bed, close your eyes....and immediately you wake up and realize that the whole day at work had been a dream. It's bad enough that you sell your waking life for minimum wage, but now they get your dreams for free. " -from Waking Life
You can train yourself to remember more of your dreams just by putting forth mental effort to the task. Tell yourself you will remember your dreams before you go to bed. As soon as you wake up try to remember and go through every detail of what you were just dreaming about. Write down your dreams. Soon your mind will becomes accustomed to analyzing its inner states and you'll be able to remember dreams every night. You'll probably remember a lot of boring dreams but there'll be a few gems in there too.
Here's a good site about lucid dreaming.

well the thing is its always been there. i only had crazy dreams when i was a little kid (5-7). its been forever that i could remember a dream. the thing is i do crazy things all the time but when i sleep i sleep, then i wake up. but to tell you the truth life seems like a dream to me. i just thought now why i love psychedelics ... they allow me to dream.

Once upon a time, Chuang Tzu dreamed that he was a butterfly, flying about enjoying itself. It did not know that it was Chuang Chou. Suddenly he awoke, and veritably was Chuang Chou again. He did not know whether it was Chuang Chou dreaming that he was a butterfly, or whether it was the butterfly dreaming that it was Chuang Chou. Between Chuang Chou and the butterfly there must be some distinction. This is a case of what is called the transformation of things.
