How do you get a girlfriend?

Seriously?

Its been 6 years since I last had one.

Theres a real lack of single women around here.  Even when I do meet a single girl at a bar it is hard to get them interested.  I see the same women with loads of male friends later on.  I know they are in the comfort zone and will have a much better position for getting close to them.

My only female friends are all taken for.

People say I should move to the big city but then I will have no social network at all.

I can barely remember how to kiss a female.

I'm stuck.  Ive given up trying really.  I try and be friends with women but theres hardly any that are single.  In the past year I made friends with 2 singles, they both seemed to like me but when I tried to take it further one said she didn't like the age gap and the other ended up saying she prefered my friend and is now practically married to him.

Advice other than kill my self, get a whore or whack off would be prefered.

I can't even find a single girl.  I spoke to 2 in the past year.  I go out as much as possible too.  I'd have to know a girl for a while to ask them to dinner.  Dinner would not really be my style anyway.

I've tried many approaches. 

I think being friends for a while is the best approach but I can't even find any girls to be friends with.  I got a few but they are taken for.

I've given up caring now though.  I still chat to girls I'm just not bothered about having a GF its been that long I don't care nbut theres this element inside me that tells me I'm gonna die a lonely man if I don't find a way to change this.

I even asked my female friends what I was doing wrong.  They said I need to get out and try more but I'm at every party that happens and I goto the bars at least twice a week.  They reckon I'm nice and say they don't understand why I don't have one :confused:

I gotta admit when I chat up women theres no usually a whole lot to talk about.  I talk about music and make some jokes.  Usually they then disappear pretty rapidly.

Maybe parties and bars aren't the best places to find a decent woman anyways.  Those are where you find whores and bar flies.  Go take some kind of class, join some kind of club or some shit.

Can't think of any club I'd like to do.  I like martial arts and computers but I won't find women in a MA or computer class.  If you do they have 30 geeks hitting on them cuz they are the only female there.

I'm horrible at getting girlfriends as well, the bad thing is I have several female friends but they all put me in the "friend zone" pretty quick because I come off as too nice. =/
