"Abstract interfacing" is usually a term used in computer programming. It means creating an input/output surface for an encapsulated module which is endlessly extendable.

The idea is that if you have an abstract interface, it does not matter what it is that wants to interface with you- it can.

(That is a bit of a simplification, but it would be hard to get too literal about it without becoming somewhat esoteric)

so, uh, what is it you do with yourself that programs you in a way so complex the average layman cannot understand it?

Attempt universal love and tolerance.
I'm not fully programmed yet.

(good luck me)

I don't believe Jesus was a magical one of a kind thing- I think he found a replicable way to evolve the human mind.

(He didn't teach people his secret fast enough unfortunately, and the Romans nailed him onto the front of a culture, and rode him into the future as if he were some sort of sled)

PS: if this sounds too crazy for you, you have not taken it metaphorically enough. But my general goal is communicable transcendence; however you want to spell it.

Maybe into a healthy life affirming personality structure.

^ I would have put it similarly to Icelander.

'Into what' is also a good way of thinking about it- perhaps we will become the visible metaphor. Although really I guess I'm just being a metaphor for McKenna by saying that (octopus!).

I imagine it is a self-fulfilling form of some sort.
