Fantasy Football
    #8497250 -

Who else is getting pumped about the NFL season right around the corner and with it fantasy football!  I'm starting to look at schedules, stats, etc getting ready.  Anyone got what they think are gonna be some real fantasy goldmines?

Two Words: Rex Grossman

Yeah still with Da Bears...starting?  who knows?  might as well try, their vet RB keeps getting arrested so they may go with a rookie and who knows who their shitty QBs have to throw to exactly!

Wrecks Grossman.

What about Greise?  Isn't he gonna challenge?

is there anyone on that team worth picking up for fantasy?  Hester is only good for kicking returns so unless you're in a weird special teams pos league i don't think anyone is worth a pickup...lots of other D/ST have easier schedules that will make them more valuable

Nope.

I would not recommend any member of that team for anything.

And I love the Bears more than many members of my own family, so that's really saying something.

I feel your pain...I'm a Redskins fan and I can't really recomend anyone on that team.  Portis is getting old, Campbell coming off injury and brand new coach/offense....I didn't know who our coach was till i looked it up this week.  It is fun to say we have J-Z (jim zorn), I'm just gonna say J-Z

One of my sleepers of 08-09 is Jake Delhomme coming off an injury plagued season. Carolina has beefed up their offense line and added weapons at WR. Carolina should rebound as a wild card team in the NFC.

I can not wait for football afterall thats what baseball season is for

Yeah, I see Delhomme and Steve Smith as good sleepers to pick up that could score the points that make the difference in the 2nd tier players.

Griese is now back with Tampa Bay.

With the Bears D healthy, that might not be a bad pick for fantasy.

But the offense...  There are no safe bets right now, but there might be some stars when it comes to the playoffs.  Hester might be good as a WR.  And Greg Olsen has been getting the most catches in mini-camp.

Hester is not nearly smart enough to make a WR.

They tried it in college, and he couldn't figure it out then.  I find it hard to believe he's added any significant numbers to his IQ score.  He is an idiot savant.  He can run incredibly fast, but little else.

So true.

The Broncos drafted the next Hester, according to Mike Shanahan.  Eddie Royal (with cheese).  I'm not convinced.
