Frequencies and Realities

I posted this on adp. Thought it would fit well in here aswell.

Do drugs, meditating, dreaming whatever tune ones self to different
freqencies which correspond to other realities? I had a non drug
experience with Brain Wave Generator. It's at www.bwgen.com if anyones
interested (I'm not spamming ;-) ).
Where by I used it to tune down my brain to a theta leve 3-7hz I
think. I started getting images and stuff behind closed eyes after 15
mins or so of listening, I think. Also strange sensations of being on
the edge of seeing, feeling, possibly discovering something about
something. I know this sounds strange, but I have been in that state
before with drugs. I'm sure most of you have.
So do certain frequencies tune the brain to other senses of things
that are beyond the normal senses? Or am I going mad and is it all in
my head? I guess these questions have been around alot before and will
be in the future, but it's interesting all the same.

A good test of any method is if one can bring something back from the experience. Most of us here agree that we can bring great ideas back from mushroom trips.

The program sounds promising! Listening to different patterns of sound (music) the mind can reach different states of thought. I am trying the program right now. Maybe its cuz I got a headache, but I can actually feel my brain respond to the different sounds , although they get boring pretty quick

What kind of thoughts did you have?

your chakras respond to certain frequencies each giving you diffferent mental states, the mushroom stimulates the crown.

YES! I don't want to sound too excited but I have had one experience in particular that was very disturbing and confusing. I too had my eyes shut and was listening to music. I actually tried to forget about this experience because it was so disturbing, thus I forgot the music I was listening to.
I was trying to fall asleep and rather quickly began to have a strange feeling of being aware of another physical reality and could feel that I was surrounded by objects, soon I could see these objects (I don't want to write about them though). It was more that I 'understood' in a way how to see, or had learned how to see. It was actually a great feeling of being aware, and being able to see a 'true' reality. But what I saw was way too frieghtening to want to see again... If that is the true reality than we or I am in big trouble and would prefer to live in ignorance... Then again maybe it was just a creation of a fearful mind, and trying it again might yeild better results....
