You ever have dreams, where you know you are dreaming?
And walk about, speak with people, like you do here?
Only to wake up, and recall all of it? Like go to sleep, ... dream, wake up in the dream, be there for say 3 days, then go to sleep there, and wake up here with only hours having passed here?
Recalling it?
"Able to recall it." ... If there is more than one reality, could we in every reality, forget about the other? And if we could recall an other reality, could we then stay awake, indefinitely?
I'd like to hear what you all got to say on this.

How can you physically goto sleep for a few hours, and stay in your dreams for a few days? Wouldn't your body have to goto sleep for a few days, as well? Or maybe dreams are a false perception, and thus not subject to being reality at all. What do you think?

I think that to interact on any level, the brain/mind and body must still be in the same state/nonphysical-place
this would help explain why so many people aren't even aware during their waking hours, as well as the lack of sleep many people suffer from

Same here.. Once I fell down a sand hole, and was stuck, kind of buried alive.. Eventually I woke up. Interesting experience, when one know one are dreaming.
And psyka: Time is relative to the observer/measurer?
BTW: soulcircus: When I feel stuck in dreams. Like when I am alone and want to wake up. I found that going to sleep, like one does if one cannot sleep here, does the trick! And so one wakes up another place. Like in a alternative reality. (False awakening.) Here, and so on..

I never timed myself but I never had dreams that lasted days.. I would probably freak out.. or maybe I have. I just dont remember. It would be nice to experience a dream in one full days length and able to control it. I would make a mess.. Talk to random people. Break windows. bone some chicks eat dream food lol.. whatever comes in mind. I would also try to contact family members and see if they are related to me in my dream.

I wish I could stay in my dreams that long! Do you guys practice lucid dreaming to achieve these kinds of dreams? Or has it always been like this for you?
I've been working on improving my lucid dreaming. My biggest problem is waking up as soon as I realize I'm dreaming.

As you said; What if you do all that already? If one want to learn "awaken dreaming", one should start on learning to recall dreams..
PS: Way to bump a REALLY old thread!

I've been working on improving my lucid dreaming. My biggest problem is waking up as soon as I realize I'm dreaming.
I had it once when a kid. And have focused on doing it, ever since..
So I guess I am a natural learner! :p (As we all are?)
I found the trick to be to work on dream-recall.. As I experience it, I have "awaken dreams" ever single night.. But weather or not I am able to recall it, depends on the content of the "dream", and how I wake up.
I had a real breakthrough when I first learned the difference of waking up, vs. being awoken...
If I am awoken by say the alarm.. I forget "awaken dreams" .. But do tend to recall "normal" dreams..

I sort of can manipulate lucid dreaming once I'm in there but I cannot get there alone.. the first dream must occur first.. The worst thing is a lucid dream that becomes a nightmare

Ok, I finally managed how to fly in my dream.. and it was based on fear and faith.. closed my dream eyes and I just took off.. however, I reached the limits of the atmosphere and went straight down.. the falling part was uncontrolable.. I ended up in some apartments.. I'm excited woohoo!

I used to try to have lucid dreams... it's really cool you can pretty much do anything you want. like flying and it feels real. there are techniques you can learn to train yourself to have them.

what kind of things can you manipulate in a dream? so far, i learned how to pick up rocks and throw them.. i swung at this dude that was trying to kill me but the dream changed so I didnt feel physical contact.. and this flight trick.. the hardest thing to do is to not wake up.. eventually something always creeps up to try to scare you.. I call them dream demons cus that's all they try to do.. scare you.. like they have nothing else better to do. assholes lol..

Lucid dreaming can be an option.
I've actually had a dream where I have taken a psychoactive substance that I haven't done prior yet I had felt the effects strongly based of information, research, and reports I have read about.

I had a dream like that too... I fell into a huge pile of cocaine, and when I got up, I felt more energized and happy.

well it is quite difficult at first.. dreams have no control .. like a scene of a novel already written for you to read.. no control but just to view it.. This time i had control and picked up a rock like how I told my mind to do and threw it..

We can determine how vivid the dream was by giving a brief description of the size and texture
By the way just kidding.
