This forum is for critical discussion of ideas. No one is going to accept your bullshit claims without providing some substantiation, or some actual ideas to consider. If you make a claim, you back it up. If you don't back it up, then you are wasting your time and ours by posting bullshit claims in the first place.

Coming in here with bullshit claims, and then calling others lazy for not doing your work for you is stupid.

Once more, any substantiation for the hemisphere "idea"? :strokebeard:

The truth is not easy to acquire. Dec 21, 2012 could easily be an anagram, a red herring. 2211 is more likely, to my way of thinking, not simply from the numerological perspective but because "Twenty-too eleven" is another way of saying "ten-forty" or ten-four (used to express affirmation or confirmation)

NO i got better shit to be doing then explaining something that would probably take a good hour to type down. And for what? So we could go back and forth and back and forth? It's not a debate that could be won. I've got no problem at all if you want to die in your own ignorance.

Why did you present a topic if you don't have time for an explanation and evidence?

My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

If you did not want to discuss it why did you post? Did you think that you would espouse your wisdom and that we would just kneel at your feet in awe. This place is about discussion...you know what a discussion is don't you? I think "go back and forth and back and forth" is describing a discussion, and this forum is for discussion.

it's funny how little things have changed since ancient greece.

when socrates pushed euthyphro to clarify his knowledge of piety and impiety euthyphro says:

"Some other time, Socrates, for I am in a hurry now, and it is time for me to go"

Socrates' reply:

"What a thing to do, my friend! By going you have cast me down from a great hope I had, that I would learn from you the nature of the pious and impous (2012) and so escape Meletus' indictment (God's wrath) by showing him that I had acquired wisdom in divine matters from Euthyphro (cube talk), and my ignorance would no longer cause me to be careless and inventive about such things, and that I would be better for the rest of my life.

:hehehe:

It also must be noted that Socrates was force fed poison by the members of his community. People don't often really want truth.

I've seen so much disinfo about 2012 it's no wonder hardly anyone knows exactly what it's about.

I've studied this thoroughly and here's what I know for sure:

The Sun WILL NOT align with Galactic Center, It never does.

The Sun will not complete a 26,000 year orbit around the Galaxy, that takes 220 million years.

In fact our Sun is moving DOWNWARD not sideways in respect to the Milky Way,
and our Solar System goes up and down like a ferris wheel instead of formed sideways along the Galactic plane like most other Star's planetary systems.

The reason for this is because our Sun is NOT FROM THIS GALAXY!

Sol entered the Milky Way from above as it is part of the invading Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy.

Anyway here is what WILL happen FOR SURE on 12.21.2012:

Using any astronomy program, you will see that the Sun transits the Galactic Meridian (above Galactic Center) EXACTLY AT SUNRISE (important) as viewed from South America on the Winter Solstice of 2012.

This is why the Mayan Tzolk'in or Tonalámatl Calendar restarts on that date, due to Precession, this event only happens once every 25,765 years.

The Ancients weren't obsessed with Astronomy because they were superstitious,
They understood the connection between inner and outer space...

Another 2012 side note; The Hopi Prophecies mention something about a Solar Eclipse at the End Time.

There hasn't been a full daytime Solar eclipse over Hopi lands for a couple THOUSAND years, the next one will be on 5/20/2012. For real.

I know these things could just be mundane astronomy, but maybe they really are pointing at something more significant...

Not true...see this:

What software do you recommend I download, in order to view what you said about the sun?

That's not very conclusive, it doesn't even mention the fact that our solar system's plane is at a right angle to the Milky Way's, and is in fact closer to the angle of the Sag Dwarf.

It also doesn't mention the possibility that our solar system has been recently pulled into Milky Way orbit.

Why do debunkers always have such arrogant attitudes? I, for one, am not so sure either way.

I think some people are just to frightened to admit the possibility that much of what we take for granted as "common knowledge" simply isn't true.

That was a letter in response to the article. Pay attention. :smirk:

Yeah I know it's not from "Nature" but that doesn't mean it's not possibly true.

Huh? From the page I posted...

"First, the plane of the solar system (defined, really, by the plane of the Earth’s orbit) is tilted with respect to the Milky Way’s plane by about 60 degrees or so. But this is not a big deal; the Sun formed from a gas cloud 4.6 billion years ago, and any number of forces would have caused that cloud to collapse such that the plane of our solar system could be pointed any which way. There’s no reason to assume the two planes would align."

Sure it does...right before it says it's total hogwash and explains why.

When I read your post the first time I was excited. Maybe this would be evidence for something out of the ordinary.

It wasn't, because it just wasn't true.

Further, your lack of saying anything at all to my post asking for information makes me think that it's because you don't have any(information). Have you in fact used "any astronomy program(s)" to see that the sun does, in fact, cross the midplane of the galaxy exactly on 21/12/2012?

I just did a quick search, and the four programs I downloaded couldn't do what you said...that's why I asked.

*Reason #1: The Milky Way's gravitational pull. Reason #2: EVERY other star system discovered so far does.*

*Whether or not the 5/20 eclipse or 12/21 Galactic Heliacal Rising means anything "extraordinary" remains to be seen.*

I considered leaving out the Sag Dwarf info because it was the only part that could not be proven.
I shouldn't have even mentioned it, some of you people can't handle possibilities.

I regret not adding "POSSIBLY" to "our Sun is not from the Milky Way." My bad.

Everything else I said is hard FACT, a cat couldn't scratch it.

I use Starry Night Pro 5 with Galactic Guides, it's for real, I could take a picture...

Feel free to question my evidence, just PLEASE try to not be such bitches about it. :nicekitty:
