That is what a proponent of any prediction will say. Of course, if the statement had predictive value, we could determine its likelihood of occurence in the first place. Simply stating that it will happen isn't a prediction to be considered.

I shouldn't have even mentioned it, some of you people can't handle possibilities.
Some of us people require at least some amount of substance or substantiation before there is any reason to consider a possibility. Your attempt to portray it as "not being able to handle possibility" is simply an attempt to convey indirect personalisms.

Whatever FW, you guys need to pull your heads out.
I gave more than enough evidence for the possibility.
Take from my post what you will, I was just trying to share some info.

Yes, substance and truth is an anality in comparison to "this is what I think and this is truth but I don't feel like dealing with substantiating anything".
We don't need to be told we need to pull our heads out. It isn't the purpose or intention of this forum, and its agansit the rules. I'm requesting that you respect the nature of this forum, as well as my responsibility to ensure it is moderated in accordance with its purpose and intention.

"Possibilities" do not translate into scientific facts.
Fluff forum it is, indeed.

Keep these comments out of this forum. Personalisms are not permitted. I'm starting to feel inclined to start banning again.

*Reason #1: The Milky Way's gravitational pull. Reason #2: EVERY other star system discovered so far does.*
Understanding how something the size of a galaxy works gravitationally is hard, I know. The net gravitational pull is not towards a "center" or anything. Because the mass of the galaxy is spread out, the gravitational pull experienced at any given point is also spread out. Further, the amount of gravity experienced from all but the closest stars is drastically small.
So what is more likely? That the plain of the solar system is more or less randomly chosen by local effects at the time of formation...or that it is the way it is because it came from another galaxy?
I want proof of Reason #2...link?
*The explanation is no more conclusive than my original link.*
It is if you understand modern cosmology...

This is P&S: we're allowed to be bitches about the evidence (or total lack thereof.)
Trendal: "You still haven't said a word about the astronomy program..."
Yes, he did: "I use Starry Night Pro 5 with Galactic Guides."
