2012 is on its way, and its comming fast!

Whether or not you beleive there will be a significant event in 2012 or not, you have to admit it is getting pretty weird all the time. Just go to www.newscientist.com or watch the discovery channel. Technology is evolving increasingly faster. I am starting to feel a change in consiousness not just on psychedelics. I mean the average person is so trapped in the limits society has set down for them. They have a strict schedule, work from 9 to 5, this goes on and on. Eventually they retire, and wait until Jesus comes down, or until they die and go to heaven. I find it so fascinating watching all this take place.

No. We are approaching them at the same speed. 2004 just happens to be closer.

If McKenna was right ( And I don't think he was, except perhaps in a very general sense...) 2012 is approaching faster than 2004. Because the flow of time is literally speeding up. So later dates are coming at us faster, relatively speaking, than closer ones. :wink:

Theres nothing wrong with routine. Our physical presence is bound to the rules of physical reality, therefore we are forced to abide by them. Technology may be evolving, but thats not neccasarily a bad thing.

I probably did not explain myself well, I am sorry. There is nothing wrong with a schedule. Evolution set things up great. I just mean that with all this tecnology comming out faster and faster, it feels like something big is going to happen. If you don't like the idea of me talking about 2012, I will just put it this way. I feel as if I am getting pulled by an attractor, times are chaning, just look around.

i hate routines.
Mostly because people are usually put into them without much of a choice in the matter. I know that they choose to get the job and work the hours, but there's not much of an alternative is there?

whenever i think of routines I envision the big-money-making-machine that everyone wakes up to, turns the cranks on and goes to bed. Sure it keeps them alive, yipee.

i think the 9-5 routine is a world-wide symbol of lifelessness. Ending your journey early and retiring to your cage.

the exception is a job that allows you to constantly grow and learn from. not too many of those in ratio, though.

i dont have anything against people with a regular job, and I won't be surprised if i end up the same way,(like i said there is not too much of a choice) but that doesn't mean I have to think it's all fine and dandy.
